Stayed May 7, 2022Situated in a quiet country lane, this 100 year farmhouse is perfectly situated to enjoy a peaceful and idyllic stay. It’s surrounded by working farms for sheep. The owner very kindly let me hold a lamb for a photo. We found the farmhouse to be very comfortable, turf provided for the fire! Bread, milk, butter and biscuits available on arrival. We chose it as it’s location is superb for exploring the wealth of stunning beaches, historic sites, forest walks and scenery Donegal has to offer. It was lovely to be able to share this with our dog. Would love to return

Stayed May 22, 2026This was a beautiful traditional Irish cottage in a beautiful part of Donegal. The hosts were exceptional very accommodating friendly and helpful. My only criticism would be the website vrbo made it difficult to communicate directly with the hosts. I had a problem with my email and they blanked out my phone number when I asked her to contact me by phone. But being Ireland the locals knew where to guide me.All part of the charm Will definitely go back lovely.

Stayed Aug 18, 2025What a great experience! Lovely home right in the countryside but a 10 min walk to a very cozy pub. Loved this place. Great location within county Donegal as well. Can get anywhere in the county in about 90 min or less. Very safe, very quiet. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Stayed May 31, 2025Staying in this home was exactly what we needed. We were looking to explore Donegal and this centrally located farmhouse was right in the middle of it. We were within an hour or so of most of the destinations we wanted to get to.We were interested in hiking in the Glenveagh national park and our host gave us an encyclopedia of information about the area and different places to go and visit, as well as how to get there from a local perspective. He definitely went above and beyond!Communication was easy and seamless. Check-in was exactly as expected. It was a cozy house and a lovely stay.

Stayed Sep 19, 2024I cannot imagine a more perfect experience than Michael and Bridget’s beautiful farmhouse! They were both spectacular hosts. The house was cozy, clean, and comfortable … and just a quick walk to the Glenveigh Inn for a pint. O nice for them to have set us up with some coffee, tea, and milk. The region is spectacularly beautiful. Highly recommend.
