Fantastic 4 Bedroom, 3 Full Bath, Gorgeous Lot! Gazebo, Boat House, Private Ramp

Our stay was very pleasant. The property was great, and the neighborhood is very quiet. It was a good home base to use for our trips to King Dominion and Richmond.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It was so relaxing and quiet. The kitchen is stocked, rooms are comfortable, and the large game room has something for everyone. We only used the beach with the pavilion which was well maintained and perfect for us. The host was very gracious and the communication was timely. We would definitely love to come back!

Property was amazing. This is so nice and quiet. Lots of areas to play and fish. Only issue is it is the warm side of lake so you can’t rent a boat on that side unless you take it for 5 days. That was way too much money.

The Gathering Place is a completely perfect group home — the house itself and the expansive property offer so much space and so many different ways to have fun and be active or relax. The host, Susan, was incredibly communicative and thorough throughout. We will definitely be coming back!

We had great time with our family on the lake. The house was nicely kept with plenty of space for all. The property was amazing the grand children loved the beaches and boat house for fishing and swimming off the dock. Was a great week.

This property has everything you need for a great stay on the lake. Sound also does not carry far between rooms, which was great for us since we brought kids who needed uninterrupted afternoon naps.

The house/property was great! Best stocked and equipped house I’ve ever stayed in. I didn’t need to use any kitchen/paper supplies I took with me. Won’t be bored on a rainy day with the awesome game room with pool table, ping pong, large TV with games, etc. and 2 fire pits. Location and dock were great. Loved having the private boat ramp. The covered porch was a definite plus. Owners were very responsive and attentive! Hope to stay here again.

We had a wonderful family getaway with our adult children and their family. The superstar of this property is the beautiful, spacious, varied, lakefront property! We felt like we were on our own quiet lakefront park for a week. The beach was a huge hit with the kids. Yes, the water was warm, but they got used to it and didn't seem to mind. We rented a pontoon boat so the boathouse, with the quaint screened in porch, was another plus. The canoes, kayaks, paddleboat, life vests, picnic areas, firepits, huge deck just afforded us even more outside fun. The sunrises over the lake were absolutely spectacular every morning! The house itself is a bit dated but is spacious, unique, clean, comfortable, with well stocked kitchen and comfy beds/linens. The property owner was excellent, very helpful and immediately responsive. Note...the youngest child was almost 4 and he handled the spiral staircase, slowly, held onto the rail and did fine. All in all our first lake family vacation was amazing due to this lovely Lake Anna home.

Great property and well appointed home! Dated but great spaces and fun activities for all. Only caution is for families with small children - the staircase is a steep spiral so we had to block it off to prevent accidents. Loved it though and would go again!
