Stayed Nov 14, 2025This is an amazing home and the host has really thought about details. It is a historic home, which is not why we rented it, but my family was super wowed over the history and overall coolness of this place. Thanks to Alex for being such a great host!

Stayed May 16, 2025We booked this Vrbo for our wedding weekend, as our venue didn’t offer any on-site lodging, and we’re so grateful we found this beautiful gem. From the very beginning, Alex was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us.He coordinated details like ensuring we had enough parking for all the vendors coming and going, and even made sure our limo could make its grand entrance up the lane without a hitch. We had our first look in front of the Manor, and it was absolutely breathtaking a moment we’ll never forget. The house itself was spotless, spacious, and had more than enough room for our family and friends to relax and enjoy the day. The views, the history, the peaceful vibe, everything was exactly what we dreamed of. The Manor ended up being just as special a part of our weekend as our wedding day itself.Thank you, Alex, for helping make our celebration truly unforgettable.

There was eight of us, and it suites us beautifully! Alex is a thoughtful host, with many extra amenities! The beds were comfy, the dining room stunning..and the kitchen is huge, which made it easy to create wonderful memories!

Stayed Nov 8, 2024Spacious, historical home with wonderful decor. It was just what we needed after spending time in the city visiting family. The only drawback for us (70 year olds) was all the stairs. Nice .25 mile driveway to walk down and back a few times for some exercise.

Stayed Jul 19, 2024Not only were we provided the comfort and necessities you get from home, we also got to enjoy the aesthetics of a charming house. The house set in a rural area also offered welcoming peaceful silence after a full day of activities. Truly a home away from home.

Stayed Jul 3, 2024The property is beautiful and the house is fantastic. The Rich historical history about the property and house was icing on the cake. It’s such a blessing that the owners open this property for people to experience. Alex was a perfect host and provided everything we could possibly need for a memorable, pleasant stay at the manor.

Stayed Dec 22, 2023Our family had Christmas at Lansdowne Manor, a beautiful home on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The Manor made us feel like royalty. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Our group ranged in age from 5 to 88. Although there is a formal dining room, the kitchen and the living room were where we usually gathered. Upstairs had several bedrooms that could accommodate differing sets of guests. The beds were extraordinarily comfortable. The libraries at the Manor are extensive and engaging. The graceful central staircase could be handled by all easily. We simply loved our visit. We look forward to another stay at the Manor in the future. Alex, the manager, was always available and most accommodating.
