Family Mountain Getaway - Explore Cripple Creek

This is one of our favorite properties. It is cozy, clean and close to the casinos, and has all the amenities we need. The host is always accommodating and pleasant. We love this place and will stay here again. Thank you!

Súper cute cozy spot, enjoyed sour stay. Only complaint is no board games available, wish we’d have some options since it snowed and we stayed in. Other than that 5 stars

Great stay, super clean and unit has all you need for a great stay

We had such a goodtime in Cripple Creek and really enjoyed our stay. The drive was so beautiful getting to see the fall colors changing in full effect! The place was very nice and cozy. Our son 10months also had fun, we were one block away from the train! That was fun for our little one!We will definitely request to stay here next fall!

Great location, lovely home, well stocked. Store is close by, just check the Book. Train ride although short was very informative. We have been up to Cripple Creek many times, (we have a friend that works there).Defiantly want to rent this home again.

Everything worked well and fit our needs. Close to everything to do in Cripple Creek. Great information and instructions. Enjoyed grilling out and the instrctions told us where to find the local grocey store. Thanks!

My family and I had a wonderful time! The house was super cute, cozy, and clean! The house was in a great location and the area was quiet.

We stayed for the 4th of July and loved our stay. Very comfortable and near all the things we wanted to do.

Spending a week with family, was so much fun. Even had a day of snow. Home was perfect, so cozy and all comforts of home. Would definitely stay again. Communication was great with our host. Hated to leave.

We were delighted to enter and find a small decorated Christmas tree and a strand of lights going up the stairway rail to set the tone for our Christmas stay. Spotless. Roomy. Peaceful. Plentry of recliners. Very homey. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-supplied. Quiet neighborhood with quick access to all attractions including the ice castles. Communications with our hostess were immediate and friendly. Thank you so much, Kari, for sharing your beautiful home with our family where we were able to hold our sweet baby granddaughter for the first time!

The place was the perfect place for a couple of friends to stay. Each couple had their room and bathroom. The place was super clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, including coffee in the morning. We loved the proximity to Golden Nugget, which was within walking distance, and spent most of our time. The weather was in the 50s too cold for us Californians to walk to the downtown area or the other casinos, so we drove there. We enjoyed the restaurant in the Double Eagle Casino, which we ate a few times for dinner. I would highly recommend this place away from home when visiting Cripple Creek!

We have stayed at Family Mountain Retreat several times in the past few years and it has always been wonderful. It is a family tradition to go to the Butte Theater every fall and Kari's home is our favorite place to stay. It is close to Cripple Creek' s main road and it is so peaceful and quiet. We always have a wonderful time. Thanks so much for your hospitality Kari!!

We very much enjoyed Cripple Creek and found that there was much to do with a nice variety of shops, restaurants and casinos. The shop proprietors were very friendly and helpful. We found the home to be comfortable and met all of our needs. We would consider staying again at this property as it was clean and well-maintained.
