Cabin was really clean and extremely cozy. Amazing views from the deck and hot tub. If you’re a stargazer, this is the place to be. We visited the casinos ice castles and hiked to Rita of the rock picker. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway!

Loved this small, cozy cabin. It was extremely quiet and the scenery was beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. We especially loved the hot tub and the wood burning stove. The host was very kind and responded in a timely manner when i contacted her regarding snow removal from the driveway; we happened to be at the cabin during a snow storm which dumped close to a foot of snow. The snow plow was there that afternoon and cleared the snow. Everything was great! I highly recommend!

The A-frame was cozy and comfortable. Beautiful scenery out the balcony and the drive up. The turning aspens were awesome. Remote but UPS can still get there.

Just a short enough drive from the city life of cripple creek. Perfect place for peace to ourselves in the mountain side. Amazing sunrise every morning from the front porch. Absolutely gorgeous property.

Absolutely amazing, I can't express that enough. The cabin was cozy and quiet just what we needed. The views were unreal how clear the skies were. It rained most of the time we were there but still so beautiful. The nights in the hot tub watching the cows come through were lots of fun. Our first morning we thought there was a bear outside our windows but just a cow looking in the window at us, she looked as surprised as we were. Our last night this thick heavy mist rolled in over the mountain made it look like something out of a movie so cool you couldn't see the deck for the mist, like I said like a movie. We did not want to leave our final morning there ? Would definitely LOVE to return to this small cabin in paradise ? HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY ? 10,10,10,10,10,10,10,10,1010 out of 10AMAZING

This is our second time in the cabin. My husband and I really like it - beautiful nature, clean and well-maintained place, hot tub, wildlife... We enjoyed listening to the squirrels singing at dawn.

We love this cabin. This was our second time staying - the first was in January. It’s the perfect little spot to relax and unwind when you need a recharge. No that we’ve seen the Winter and Spring at the cozy little casa, we plan on going back in the Fall to see some colors!

Our family stayed at the little cabin in February. This cabin was perfect for my husband and I and our two small kids. The kids loved the loft. We all enjoyed the hot tub, and the wood burning fireplace. We made our dinners at the cabin, which had all the essential equipment and supplies. The cabin is very remote and peaceful.

We had such a great time staying at the Hillside Cripple Creek cabin! Beautiful views, peaceful and private. Just what we wanted! The place was very clean and had all extra things that just make your stay that much better! Like a wood burning stove with lots of firewood, hot tub, plenty of cookware, seasonings, soap and shampoo and even laundry soap! So you can pack light knowing they have it all for you!I will say make SURE you have 4wheel drive. If it snows there is no way you will make it out without it ?. We did though and we were fine even in the middle of a pretty good snow storm! The host was on top of it too because she had someone plow us out in the middle of the night which helped tremendously in us being able to leave on time and not miss our flight. 10/10 would definitely stay here again ?

My wife and I really enjoyed this cabin in the woods. We sat in the hot tub, watched mule deer while eating on the deck, and saw a beautiful sunrise while drinking coffee. Cabin had plenty of space for a couple. Internet worked well, kitchen was sufficient for cooking, and bedroom and bathroom were better than most cabins. Road was fine, but we had no weather so I couldn’t say what it would be during winter. We will definitely be bringing food and snuggling up in this cabin again.

My friend and I stayed here for a weekend recently in mid-late September. The scenery and weather were perfect the entire time. I loved that there was no service out there and no TV. It gave us the time to sit, think, reflect and talk and avoid life’s distractions. Very peaceful and rejuvenating. Highly recommend this property.

We celebrated our anniversary at this cabin.. very removed from town or any neighbors- very quiet peaceful place. Internet & cell service a little spotty-but we were ok with that. Plenty of essentials available to cook & grill. Great hot tub & fall colors were beautiful off the deck view

This is a beautiful property! We visited for our anniversary and to see the beautiful tree colors that occur in fall. Our host was fantastic and she stayed in communication with us. We appreciate the opportunity to stay. Thank you!

We booked this for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. We loved it. The cabin is really nice and the area is so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub a couple of times and just enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunrises and sunsets. It is very remote. The last three miles is up a dirt road. We don’t have 4 wheel drive so that would be a problem in the snow but it was fine for us. We used the cabin as our base and wet to explore the area each day.

What a beautiful cabin for my wife & I to celebrate our 45th Wedding Anniversary. This was our first time to explore the Cripple Creek area. We did the Gold Belt tour taking the Shelf Road to Canon City & came back on the Phantom Canyon road. It met all of our expectations & this site is on our list to return in the future.
