Our arrival started perfectly with your friendly property management representative being on site as we pulled in. The home was conveniently close to family on 30th Ave. whom we were visiting and the home was perfect for us 3 adults and 1 two year old. The design and layout worked well for us with plenty of room to both play, rest and eat. Plus, we loved the artwork and cool sand colors of the decor. All the essential supplies in bedrooms, bathrooms and the kitchen were in place (with the exception of only 1 bar of soap in the showers). The beds were particularly comfortable and we were grateful for the crib in the small bedroom. The proximity to the beach made for an easy walk to get there as well as to our family on 30th Ave. The well placed faucet and hose by the garage door made for easy cleanup from trips to the beach as did the outdoor shower behind the garage. We had some initial concerns about traffic noise from 3rd Ave., being only two houses in on 33rd Ave., but that proved to be unfounded. Upon leaving, we tried to leave the house as clean or cleaner than when we arrived. We will definitely plan to stay at The Manatee again on our next trip down to Jacksonville Beach. The place was clean and great location. Caution with renting in the summer months though. The house can’t keep up with the Florida heat. It was 85 degrees upstairs and 79 degrees downstairs from mid-morning to evening. Luckily it cooled off a little at night and we were able to sleep. My parents stayed in a VRBO a block or two over and they had no issues with their AC so we spent time there. When I contacted the property manager he said “unfortunately that’s how the house is designed it just takes a while to cool down”. The house never cooled down from 9am to 9pm. Otherwise very responsive and a nice home.

The home is perfect for a family and is spacious, filled with light, and has everything you need for a vacation or long-term stay. We also appreciated that whenever we had a question or concern, it was addressed right away.

This house is east of 3rd and blocks to the beach, which we enjoyed walking to at night and running on in the morning. Several grocery stores are nearby including Publix, Trader Joes and Whole Foods. The home also has great fruit trees in the backyard, we had fresh limes during our stay. The home is not fancy, but it is an affordable beach house and great for two adults and two kids. The property managers are also great and easy to work with.

This was a very nice area to stay. The home was spacious and well kept and in a nice neighborhood. I would travel there again.

The property is very convenient to beach and multiple golf courses. Very clean and comfortable.
