Family-friendly Home

The house was spacious and perfect for game playing in the large kitchen, dining room and living room. We played cards all weekend. The view was very nice. House was close to everything. Plenty of towels, soap etc. kitchen was well equipped. Had a slight problem locking the front door. We had a great time and would highly recommend. Left some jewelry there - wondering what my prospects are of getting it back.

The stay was awesome. House was very clean and had all amenities expected. Would love to book this stay again the next time we go down.

This was a perfect setting for visiting relatives in the Monterey area. It was plenty of room in the house for all of us to sleep and visit and share food. The neighborhood is quiet. We slept well. The kitchen had plenty of supplies for us to cook meals and share food. The location is very close to the beach and to shopping. Overall, I would rate this home highly and stay here again if in the area.

Stayed with some riding buddies for a weekend of races at Leguna Seca. House perfectly clean, nice big driveway with pleanty of room to park all the bikes off the street, tons of retail and food places super close and only minutes from the track and Cannery Row!

This VRBO was a great choice, prime location for us with little ones and had all the amenities we needed.

Honestly everything was great til the end. As always I leave things spotless. My group really doesn't spend much time on this annual event. we work from 4am til 8pm or so.. so literally we sleep.When we got home, i was told I was responsible for several line like burns in the hardwood floors. they were all over the bedroom. (Almost looked like a cord got too hot or something). I asked all my people and we didn't have any electrical in there at all. I am sorry this happened to the owner.. but we did not do this.I asked for pictures of before .. he didn't have any. I had a building inspector that was staying with us.. he said we would have smelt something and his nose was trained for that. we difinelty didn't do this. I called vrbo and they were great! in the end I don't have to do anything further. I do feel bad for this if another person did do this to his property. It has taught me to take pictures of everything prior to anything else. 'bummer as we would have wanted to stay there again next year.. but dont feel we can trust being accused of something we didn't do.

Great house, easily comfortable for 4 couples, superb location, ten minute walk to a dozen or more restaurants, fifteen minute walk to the beach and 20 minutes to Laguna Seca (40 minutes with heavy traffic). *just don’t follow the GPS that takes you through Seaside High School, the gate is typically closed on that route. Ten out of ten!!!

The house was large enough, but for the price, the mattresses and pillows should all be replaced. We splurged and spent more on this rental than we had for any of our previous 10 years. Didn’t work out as we had hoped. Sound transmission was a problem for us with an infant in the family. After 7 pm, we all had to whisper, and through the night when the baby woke up, we all heard his cries and every footstep above us. Was a challenging place for our family stay. Very little within walking distance in this suburban neighborhood, so be sure to have a car.

We absolutely loved this house. The layout was spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The view of the water was great, and the sunroom quickly became our favorite spot to relax and read. The location was perfect, just a short drive to shopping and a variety of restaurants. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

We had a wonderful time with our children and grandchildren. There were 11 of us and we were very comfortable in this house.

Our construction team stayed at the house for a couple of projects in Sand City. The house is very large and has a great backyard we enjoyed barbecuing in. Lots of space and we never felt cramped. The laundry room was a plus.

My family had a wonderful time stating here. We stay at this location two years ago, we decided to stay at the same place. Perfect place for kids and adults.

This property was perfect for our needs. A decent sized kitchen and close to the beach and shopping, it gave us an ideal home base for trips to Monterey and state and national parks. I would advise bringing extra towels, as the ones provided were quite small and there were no additional towels anywhere I could find. If you have to take an extra shower after a trip to the beach, for instance, you had no way to dry off because the only towel provided was still wet. I suppose you could run the towels through the dryer, but the dryer was outside and the room it was in was kind of smelly, so nobody really wanted to go in there. Also serving utensils like salad tongs were lacking. Overall an excellent experience, however. I would book this property again and just bring my own stuff.

Great place to stay and visit Monterey. There were 4 of us all over the age 65 including our 95 yr. old mother. We stayed two nights. The kitchen and living room, plus a master bedroom are upstairs. Mom did just fine going up and down the stairs. Beds and rooms were comfortable and I wish we could have stayed longer. It was cold when we went and we would have loved to have spent some time in both the front and back yards. Loved the garden plants. The neighborhood was quiet and the view from the upstairs was pretty at night. We would go back again.

Very spacious living accommodations for entertaining. Convenient to Monterey and Carmel.
