The Fame apartment is located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of Mariner House. The main level houses the living room, half bath and kitchen. The kitchen is a wonderful area for family gatherings with its large farmer’s table and lovely beehive fireplace. On the 3rd floor you will find a queen bedroom with a full bath and a twin bedroom and bathroom (shower only). Mariner House is located in the heart of the historic district.

Stayed Sep 15, 2025Check in was great. We were able to drop our bags early. However we wernt aware that the stairs are VERY narrow and it was difficult to carry our bags two flights of stairs. The apartment was not as expected. The furniture was quite dated and not clean. The bedding was stained. The carpet was in dire need of cleaning and needed replaced as well. The base board radiators were rusted and the air quality was very bad. We needed to get Zyrtec as soon as we arrived because one member of our party kept coughing due to air quality.

Stayed Apr 28, 2023The property was very spacious and clean. The location cannot be beat right in town steps from all the activity, stores and restaurants. If you are a renter without a vehicle you cannot go wrong with this location.

Stayed Apr 21, 2023booked a last minute weekend for the family and the booking process, price, communication with Tracy were all excellent. Accommodations were exactly as pictured and offered plenty of space to hang in the morning as we planned our day over a cup of tea and wind the evening down after a long day shopping, eating and drinking at the great restaurants, bars and Cisco Brewers.

Stayed Sep 10, 2021This location cannot be beat! if you want to enjoy the Town of Nantucket for a weekend or a long weekend and do not want to bring a car - this is the place for you. Also the kitchen in this place is simply wonderful. Fantastic place to hang out in with your friends. This is walking distance from the ferry and right in town. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms which makes it perfect for two couples. The property manager was extremely responsive and we would return again in a heart beat.
