This has to be the cleanest, well stocked, perfectly managed short term rentals we have stayed in, in a long time. I needed an iron, and I couldn’t find one anywhere in the house. Within 30 minutes Bridgette was knocking on the door with an iron. Completely unnecessary, but greatly appreciated. The house was very spacious for 15 adults and 2 kids, inside and out. Great rental! Check out downtown Granbury. There is an antique store, boutiques, and even a farmer’s market. Highly recommend House of Sunsets!

We truly enjoyed the property. The garage parking was not available. That’s the only problem I had with this rental. It was an awesome place to stay

Our family was very happy with the space and privacy of this beautiful home. The wide open view of the lake was stunning, especially at sunset, and we were soon enjoying the habit of sitting out on the porch watching the kids play every morning and afternoon. It was a little chilly and we wished the fireplace was working, but maybe next time! The grandkids are already campaigning for another visit!! We are so grateful for the time we had together here in this exceptional property.

The property was exceptional in all aspects! The home was furnished very comfortably, the kitchen was outstanding and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The lake view was gorgeous, the wildlife phenomenal and the surrounding neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. Would definitely be a property we would consider again for our family get togethers.

It was wonderful

It was a great place to gather for our ladies church retreat. A lot of seating inside and outside of the home. Didn't need to go anywhere. It was the perfect place to fellowship with our sisters in Christ.

This is a lovely house for a large group who like to stay in one place. The view of the lake from the back patio is beautiful. Wonderful place to enjoy coffee in the mornings. The house has everything one needs for preparing large meals and plenty of seating. We enjoyed our weekend here while attending a family wedding.

This is the 4th time we rented this house. It is beautiful and perfect for all of our needs. We are already planning on a trip next year. I would highly recommend this to anyone and their families to come and have a relaxing stay. Bridget is so easy to talk to and she communicates well with us and helped us with some questions we had.

We have rented this house three years in a row for our family lakehouse weekend. Its clean, well stocked and has a wonderful set up for large families or friends. The covered porch is wonderful with lots of seating and the boat house is also great. We hipe to stay again next year.

Check-in is always easy - host is very communicative! We stay here every year, and love the house, the lake, and everything about it!

The home was very clean and well stocked. We had a great time and would suggest that anyone considering this property would stay there. The kids loved the swimming area by the dock and we were able to watch them from the covered porch or inside because of the large windows. We brought our pontoon boat and having the boat slip was so convenient. The house is very roomy with a large kitchen area, eating areas, main bedroom and bathroom and we all felt like we had space to move around. There were 17 of us staying there. We went into Granbury on the square for shopping and out to eat at Stumpy's, all very enjoyable. We would stay again. Owner's agent was easy to get a hold of and very helpful.

We’ve been coming for 5 years! It is a perfect house for all ages. Our grandkids talk about it all year long! Can’t wait for next year! Lots of laughs and family time!

We had one of our best vacations at House of Sunsets. There was room for fun and room for relaxation ! The house is spacious and the bedrooms and bathrooms are amazing. We brought our boat and the kids had a blast tubing on Lake Granbury. Definitely want to come back.

We do a family lake trip each year. We have a big group - us, our kids and grandkids. This is the perfect house. Plenty of room - never feel crowded with 20 people. Nice location and it is right on the water. We have stayed here twice and plan on coming back again next year.

Several updates to outside. Everyone in our group loves this venue. We sit on back porch pand rock, talk, laugh, some tears and lots of memories! Water, weather was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and just about any other tool you need. We will definitely be back!! Bridgette, our host is the best!!

We had 14 family members staying at the house and during the day we had several family members who lived in the area and just came to hang out. The house was perfect. It was fully stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable and then some. The decor of the house was very pretty but still made us feel comfortable. The outside was perfect for the lake setting. The porch and all the rocking chairs made for the best place to sit and visit, especially since the weather was cool, windy, and rainy. We didn’t let the weather deter us and made great use of the fishing dock – – even managed to catch four little catfish. The reservation, check-in and checkout processes were smooth. I had questions during the weekend and Bridget was very quick to respond to all of my texts. We also used the hot tub and it was very nice. All in all, it was a fabulous weekend with family and we couldn’t have ask for a better place to make some happy memories.

This home slept 19 of us comfortably with plenty of space to gather and hang out. We loved all of the different seating areas outside and all of the rocking chairs on the patio made for a beautiful evening of watching a distant lightning storm. The view of the lake was gorgeous and the spacious kitchen was perfect while several of us were preparing food. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Always the #1 choice

Property was great for us and loved being on the lake since we had fishermen. Plenty of room in kitchen and living area for eating, visiting and playing games. Kitchen well stocked and bedrooms nice and roomy. A very nice Christmas!

The house is really big and we used ALL of it. It's one of the few houses I've rented that sleeps 14 and then also assumes those 14 people will all want places to eat and sit. Great layout. And Bridgette was very responsive every time I asked her about anything. We all had a very good time.

This is a delightful house well suited for our large family to gather, reconnect and enjoy one another’s company.

We were all women from UTA that pledged Zeta back in the 80s. Many of us see one another often but many are just getting back into the swing of things as their children are growing up and leaving the nest. We got together to catchup, share stories and laugh until we cried. Life is too short to not take the time out to hug those that are past, present and will be your future once again. We had an amazing time and recommend this home for a wonderful reunion of friends or family. Thank you for your hospitality. We were truly blessed to find your place!

Nice clean place lots of room

This property was very accomodating to thirteen ladies who make an annual get-a-way each year. Lots of rooms and beds, a super large kitchen and living area and tons of chairs and room on the porch. Fishing was great and time together was fabulous! I would recommend House of Sunsets in Granbury, Texas to any large groups wanting to spend a weekend together.
