Fabulous beach view! Large pool…across from beach access. Decks on both levels!

Peaceful and tranquil view of the beach from top floor balcony. Great place to enjoy your cup of coffee in the mornings! Plenty of room for a large family. Pool area was clean and had a selection of toys for my grandson. Really enjoyed staying here with our family!

Shrubs needed trimmed…scratched my truck parking. Roaches in bathrooms seen. Tub jets diid not work & would have preferred cable or satellite TV.Pool was nice & view was nice.

Amazing location, with beach access right across the street! The floor plan was perfect for our group, which included 2 small children and our in-laws. We really enjoyed the pool and the charcoal grill. The property was very clean, although could use some updating (for example, the decking around the pool needs some TLC).

The owner communication was incredible. Owner was very responsive to our needs after having a power outage and electrical failures due to bad weather. He sent an electrician over the very next day and they were able to fix some of the issues, but we still had some lights that just didn’t work. The home is beautifully and tastefully decorated, but can use some updating. Especially in the lighting and electrical department. I give the owner 5 stars, but the home itself 3.5-4 stars.-April

Overall a decent property. The pool was dirty with sand and debris on steps and bottom of the pool. We contacted host and she came to look at the pool and take pictures. The pool guy was to come the next day but didn’t show until the last day of our trip. Host was apologetic and offered a discount if we were to book another trip. Should have offered something this trip due to this was one of reasons we booked the house it had a pool.

Awesome property. Communication with management was simple and they were very helpful making our trip the best it could be!

Check in was good. There are pots and pans and bowls and miscellaneous and so many different cupboards. Most hard to try to figure out where everything was at.

The location is perfect! Easy access to the ocean, unobstructed view even though second room, not too far from the bridge. The pool is fantastic!

What a wonderful vacation home . The house suited our needs perfectly. The view was phenomenal, the pool area was wonderful (very large pool, comfortable seating in both the sun and the shade), kitchen was well equipped. Loved the shade porch overlooking the pool. The hosts were available to answer any questions we would have and were very accommodating. It is a short walk to the beach and the beach cart and chairs provided by the hosts made everything easy.I guess the best recommendation is we are looking to rent again next summer.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy beach access and convenient to shopping. The house is pleasantly decorated with open airy feel in the living area. Great view from front deck and nice seating area around to the rear of that deck. Pool was greatly enjoyed by the grandchildren, especially. While we did encounter a couple of issues at first. They were quickly resolved. Very attentive owner who strives to make your stay wonderful. Hope to come back in the future.

Owners respond quickly and made the entire process easy from start to finish. Home is well provisioned and has great amenities. Excellent property.

Loved the location. The property was just as advertised. We enjoyed the pool and the decks, especially the little sitting area off of the kitchen. The house was comfortable and we took turns cooking meals. Would definitely stay again.

The house is wonderful, the view spectacular!! Jaynee is a great host! Very responsive, gave us great info on the area. Highly recommend this house, the area and Jaynee!!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Star of the Sea. Plenty of room for 6 adults and two children. The well-stocked kitchen with island allowed for two people to prepare meals. The pool was large enough for us all to play and swim in. Beach access was so convenient. The true star was the view from the front balcony. Another covered porch looks out over the pool. Owner was very accommodating and helpful, replying to questions quickly. Bedrooms are good size. Two bunk beds in one room, with its own bathroom. Spacious master has king bed and own en suite. The other bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bath. One of those bedrooms has glass panel French doors (with light curtains) that inhibits privacy in that room a bit. Holden Beach maintains a ‘residential’ atmosphere that contributes to a relaxing vacation. We will return to this house and would recommend to our friends and families.

Great location, great pool, great views, large house. Any questions, any issues were handled very responsibly by the owners. Would consider renting this house again.
