Extraordinary Panoramic-View Home with Private Pool in Ram's Hill!

Beautiful view.

Three couples have stayed at this house on a number of occasions, and we always have a great time. The house is comfortable, spacious, and has a spectacular view. The Crooks are excellent hosts and take care of any issues immediately.

We were looking for a relaxing, comfortable location that would allow for play time (hiking, tennis, pool) and down time (taking a nap in the shade, stargazing). We also enjoy cooking together and brought all our food with us. This home ticked all the boxes and was exactly what I had imagined. I've never seen such a well-stocked kitchen for a rental. We had delicious meals! We knew the pool wasn't heated, but had hoped the 88 degree weather would make it cool, but it was just a little too cold. Had it been heated, I wouldn't want to leave! Pam and Ted were so gracious and responsive. It's rare when you plan out a vacation and it surpasses your expectations, but this was one of those vacations! We'll be back!!! (bonus points - tennis court was very well maintained and was available each day!)

Property was amazing! The location was extremely peaceful. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, all linens...games...binoculars for star gazing...anything one might need! The hosts were incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout the whole process. It was exactly the place we needed for a comfortable gamily gathering. We will definitely be back!

I’m a repeat guest to this great house in a beautiful location and as always, a fabulous stay. Perfect for three good friends to chill in the desert sun for a few days. Pam and Ted are great hosts and always provide the best accommodations. And October’s Super Moon did not disappoint!

Well maintained property, great for astrophotography

The rental was just as advertised. The house was spacious and clean. Once the AC caught up it was perfectly cool. The pool was great, and exactly what one needs in summer. While there are a few houses around, this property really feels secluded. Communication with the host was clear and virtually instant. Can't wait to return in the future!

We stay here about once a year, and every time is even better than the time before. The property is lovely and we are always seeing love and little improvements each time we stay. We are well aware of what mid-Summer in Borrego feels like and what to expect (Heat! Conserve water! Wear shoes by the pool or you’ll hurt your feeties!) and we love it. This house is stylish, cool, extremely comfortable and homey, and I am never as relaxed as I am when I’m here. The view, the stars, the pool, the kitchen, the town, the wind in the palm trees, the quiet, and even the new coffee shop down the street at Casa Del Zorro make this a trip we look forward to all year long. The owners are especially kind and responsive.

My sister and I had been wanting to check out the art sculptures in Borrego Springs for a while, and this house was the perfect place to stay for a few days. The house was exactly as described, and the yard is perfection! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, and it was so nice eating dinner outside each night. We felt very safe, and it was a quick drive into town to get supplies. We would definitely stay here again!

One of the best houses we have stayed in Rams Hill. Very easy access and great communication with the owner. Everything worked well, great kitchen, spa, pool. Very spacious and good for my elderly parents who visited. We would stay here again for sure.

We love this property. We have enjoyed several extended stays at this comfortable home and look forward to returning next year. The furniture is practical and cozy. The house is well appointed and has everything we need. Ted and Pam are very responsive if we have any questions or if any maintenance issues arise. The yard and pool are very well maintained and very private. This is just a wonderful place to be.

This was our fourth stay at this property and we return because it offers a great location for everything we enjoy doing in the area, especially the stargazing.The hosts, Ted and Pam, are attentive and responsive and the photos and description of the property accurately reflect what the place has to offer.

Ram’s Head Retreat was amazing. The pool, the view of the night sky, and the remote location were perfect. Pam and Ted are definitely great hosts…highly recommend it.

100% accuracy on location, very clean home and beautiful yard. Well stocked with appliances, utensils, linens, amenities and all ... view and night sky was incredible. Loved our holiday stay @ Rams Hill Retreat. Definitely will be returning soon !!!

We have stayed at this house a half dozen times with friends and always enjoy our stay. The house, landscaping, and view are fantastic, and the hosts are the best! We'll definitely be back.

Family relaxed use the swimming pool. Grilled some good food, played board games and had a short vacation. Thoroughly enjoyed the property and the home

Tremendously impressed with everything about this wonderful house! The host’s Pam & Ted were as good they get - I’d rate them six stars instead of just 5! I have stayed at many, many VRBO properties and this was the finest stay I have ever had! I will be back!!
