Exquisite oceanfront home with balcony, gym, & washer/dryer

From the moment we drove up to the house and entered this beautiful home, all we could say was Wow. The views were fabulous and the interior so comfortable. We enjoyed the proximity to Langley & Double Bluff Beach as well as Coupeville. The local restaurants in both towns were great but with a full service grocery store in Freeland,the homes “waterfront dining” can’t be beat. What fun to watch the variety of ships going by and exceptional sunsets.

The view, layout of the house, towels and linens, deck chairs and heaters, gas grill and games all exceeded our expectations. The bathrooms and bedrooms were well cleaned. I did not find the master bed to be comfortable, so I slept in a guest bedroom bed. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots & pans and table service. However, it was in need of a deep clean. The coffee maker and oven were filthy. The cupboards had food debris and oil spills (spice drawer) that had not been cleaned in some time. There was a level of grime in the cabinets, and we found several dirty dishes in the cabinets. I don't think the kitchen floor was mopped before our arrival as my white ankle socks were filthy from one evening of walking on the floor. I did request housekeeping to come and take care of the cabinets and the coffee maker. They did come and clean most of the cabinets but the coffee maker top where all the grounds were was missed. We did not use it the whole time we were there and made sure to wash any item in the kitchen before use. The floor was not brought to their attention prior to their arrival. The living room furniture is very well worn. The sofa had several stains - one of which was spot treated while they were there. A couple of the pillows have tears. The dining room rug is heavily soiled and in need of a deep clean. One of the dining room chairs looked like someone had peed on it. The housekeeping staff did clean it. We would not rent again in current condition.

Vacasa gave us a meager $27.71 credit for the issues we had. We would not rent the house again in its current condition nor can we recommend Vacasa.

It was the most beautiful home ! Everything about it was just amazing and we hope to be back. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

This home is exactly as advertised, but pictures don’t do the view justice. A perfect stay in a wonderfully appointed home.

This house and property were beautiful and perfect for a weekend getaway from Seattle. Everything in the home was immaculate and comfortable. When we had questions they were respond to quickly. We ended up spending much more time at the house than we had originally planned because it was such a lovely place to be after the daytime adventures—cooking, relaxing, sitting on the deck, reading.

Property and home would get a 5 star rating as submitted by other guests but housekeeping missed critical details: blood on duvet cover in primary bedroom, dirty bath mat in primary bathroom, and worst of all an open condom (used?) inside the tote provided for guest use. I submitted photos to property manager who said our cleaning fee would be partially refunded but no one came to replace the duvet cover and I washed the floor mat. Left condom where it was.

This was a beautiful home on a beautiful piece of property with a fantastic view. We loved the peace and quiet that surrounded this home. The privacy of the property was very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed watching all of the shipping traffic that frequent the waterway behind the home. The wildlife was fun to see as well, we saw several bald eagles and even a coyote. This was definitely one of the best places we have stayed and made for a memorable trip.

We were overwhelmed by the beauty of this home and its location. It was nestled among tall trees and foliage and surrounded by a beautifully manicured lawn and deck overlooking the waters of pueget sound. It was a delightfully comfortable and peaceful trip and close enough to some quaint local towns for short day trips. We would love to return for another visit!

We were 3 couples and throughly enjoyed to house and surroundings. The large windows and view make you feel part of the outdoors. Three bedrooms and three full baths made it comfortable. Wonderful well stocked kitchen.

Loved this gorgeous home the view was spectacular sunsets every night! The furniture however was very uncomfortable except for the beds.People should be aware.

The view was amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the deck day and night. We also loved the swing in the front yard!

We had a splendid time at this updated cabin. Everything was well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Loved the gorgeous view from the deck and sat there every night watching the amazing water and sunset. Great toy and activity closet. Highly recommend.

The property looks even better than the photos! You’re welcomed onto the property by driving up a secluded driveway surrounded by trees, rhododendrons, and a well maintained yard. The view of the ocean encapsulates you, walking up to the house. The decor and stocked/supplied items are well thought out to have you in mind. We had an issue with the thermostat and heater, but the property management was responsive and punctual to get it fixed. I would say the only thing missing were Kleenex and a sitting chair and/or table for the master bedroom. We really loved our stay waking up to the ocean view. I loved the house so much, I want to replicate one of my own!
