Albany, Oregon
Check yourself in to our beautiful 6,000 sq ft rock exterior home with all the amenities. Peaceful setting among 10 acres with seasonal creek and spring makes this the perfect place to get away, enjoy nature, and get some R&R. Nestled in an established neighborhood and adjoining farm land. Enjoy the fresh air as you view the Willamette Valley from the deck, stroll the Japanese garden, or enjoy watching the fish and birds in the pond or water fountain. Feel free to explore the property, enjoy the gardens, and help yourself to the seasonal produce in the garden or blackberries, raspberries, & grapes in the backyard. (Please do not go in the two story tree house as it is old and not safe.)
Our home offers a gourmet kitchen with Viking gas range and new stainless steel fridge, double ovens, dishwasher, & microwave in 2021. Vaulted entry and living room with plenty of space for the whole family. Help yourself to the books, dvd's, games, and toys located in the basement theatre room. Yamaha grand piano & piano music in the living room. The deck and outdoor barbeque area has ample seating. Guests have access to the entire house, minus the garage, master closet, and basement apartment. We are located in North Albany which is 5-15 minutes to OSU, Albany, or Corvallis.
Our home and gardens offer a perfect backdrop for weddings, receptions, family reunions, birthday parties, and/or special events. If your special event exceeds 16 guests we charge an additional $2,000 venue fee (not to exceed 50 guests due to limited parking). This fee is an additional fee on top of the regular occupancy rate. (Occupancy rate is not to exceed 16 people). This additional fee is for the event itself and you would be responsible for catering, additional outdoor chairs & tables, parking, additional garbage, etc.
We have 3 outdoor cameras around the house. Please do not tamper with them. They are linked to our thermostat and we’ve had to get a repair man to service it in the past. Any tampering with the cameras or indoor electrical boxes will be charged a $500 fine.
We have a separate 800 square-foot basement apartment that my husband and I may stay in for a portion or all of your stay. This apartment has a separate entrance from the house. If we are in town you will more than likely not even know we are home because we are quiet and keep to ourselves. If you’re staying more than a week we will coordinate a time to mow the lawn so we do not disrupt any gatherings. There is an option to rent this space for an additional $350 per night (with a four night minimum stay). We only rent it to 5 star guests who are staying for at least a week. Message me if this is something you are interested in and I can send you a special offer. This space has a living room, kitchenette, one bedroom, and bathroom.
Feel free to ask me any additional questions. I can send you a special offer if you’re interested in renting our home for a special event.
Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you!

The Home was perfect. Very private with lots of room for everyone. gorgeous. Great location. Easy drive to OSU campus
We stayed at this house while in Oregon for our daughters med school graduation. All I can say is wow! This home is immaculate, and absolutely stunning. The photos online don't do it justice, the grounds, gardens, and interior were absolutely stunning, you can tell this is a well loved home. Every detail was perfect. It fit our large extended family very well, and was the perfect setting for a cocktail party after the ceremony. This house made our stay in Oregon so special. We are so grateful to the hosts for sharing this home with us.
We had the best reunion gathered together in this home. Everything was perfect and we felt right at home. Thank you!
The house is very well maintained with everything needed for a large group (children included). We had multiple family members come in from out of town to meet and stay in Albany for a wedding. it was an excellent experience and the host was great. We definitely recommend staying here and hope to again.
The house and the property were beautiful and well-maintained. We had a big group of (adult) triathletes staying there for the Oregon 70.3 race in Salem. Staying in a home that had everything we needed for cooking meals, plenty of bedrooms, and a beautiful view was exactly what our team needed to keep the stress levels in check pre-race and to relax and recover after the race. The only issue we had was the internet not working well, which was an issue for some of the non-racing spouses who needed to work remotely on Friday. Otherwise, it was the perfect spot for all of our needs! We were able to message Christin when we had a question and she was very quick to respond. I highly recommend this spot for your next group get-away!
All I can say is “WOW”! This was my first time ever to use a VRBO. Christin couldn't have made it easier! The property was beautiful, we had 10 of us and it was perfect!! The only regret is that we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors, due to the fact that we were there for a wedding. Hoping to make this a yearly vacation for our family. Thank you Hardings for sharing your lovely home, the coffee, the flowers and the chocolate!❤️ We’ll be back!
My family stayed a week at Christin's lovely home. The property is beautiful, the home is welcoming, and Christin was very responsive to our needs. When we had trouble with the internet, it was fixed right away. We enjoyed how personal the home was, and the touches of a real family that we saw with the game closet and the kids' heights marked on a door frame. The area is gorgeous and quiet. We either cooked our meals in the extremely well appointed kitchen, or we ordered food for delivery which worked very well. Thank you, Christin, for sharing your home.
The house and property worked well for our get-together. Thank you.
This was our second stay at Christin's house and it was great. The three levels provide room for everyone to have space. The daylight basement is great for kids of all ages with a theater room, huge selection of movies, puzzles, load of toys including Legos and a ping pong table. The kitchen is large and has absolutely everything needed to cook any meal. The attached sunroom was a favorite spot to sit. Having four bathrooms and two half baths with many choices of Bath and Body Works products as well as shampoo and conditioner is wonderful. There is comfortable seating, pillows and throws in every living area. It is a very quiet neighborhood, fun to walk in. It is right off Hwy 20 so an easy drive to Corvallis, but also very close to downtown Albany. Christin responds promptly to every communication and is kind and thoughtful. She really goes out of her way to welcome, the house had adorable Easter decorations and chocolate bunnies for us to eat. Our stay was perfect and we will return. Thank you, Chrisin!
The house is located in a very quiet area, off the street so no traffic, and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The kitchen has everything needed, small appliances, plenty of mixing and serving bowls, baking dishes, utensils for every need, dishes and flatware for a crowd. There are spices, condiments, even baking supplies. The ice maker was not working but Christin bought ice and had it in the freezer. The bathrooms have plenty of towels and lots of name brand toiletries. We enjoyed the many board games and ping pong table. The sunroom was a favorite place to sit. It was nice to have a dining room as well as an eat in kitchen. Christin also left different candies, pistachios and sparkling cider for us. Check in was easy, communications was great. The house was comfortable and perfect for our needs.
