Really enjoyed our stay in Gardiner. The house was perfectly located to the North Entrance to Yellowstone. Everything thing about this property was great. Lots of room for big families and the downstairs pool table was a great way to relax in the evening as was the spa. Highly recommend visiting Yellowstone in the winter and this house is the perfect home base. Our flight was cancelled and the host was very accommodating in allowing us to stay an extra night which was greatly appreciated. Kate helped us out with everything we needed.

Great communication. We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of room for the 10 of us (5 couples) to spread out. Well appointed and had all the supplies we needed to cook meals.Very close to downtown, the park enterance and Yellowstone Hotsprings.A couple notes: The table really only seats 8 but we were able to squeeze 10 around it. The bedroom with 2 twin beds had a mattress that was not quite up to par. Everything else was fantastic. We would stay there again.

This was a repeat. We had stayed here once before and it was great. It’s so close to the park entrance, where we mostly spent our days, plus 2 min. to grocery story, 10 min. the hot springs. Nice big house in an easy location.

House worked perfectly for our group of six. Easy, close access to the park. Host was very quick to respond when we had an issue with the refrigerator and supplied a replacement in less than a day. Beautiful views of Yellowstone. Bear proof trash cans. All the amenities you would need. I would rent again in a heartbeat.

We have stayed at MANY Vacation Homes over the years. This is a wonderful home. One of the very best. Will definitely stay again. Spacious, comfortable, and has great artwork as well.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! There were plenty of gathering areas for my family spanning several different generations. We mostly stayed in and cooked and the kitchen was above and beyond well stocked.The views from the sitting area upstairs are unparalleled and made for good mornings and evenings for relaxing with family.

This house was excellent - one small suggestion - perhaps build a railing near the back door entrance for safety. Hard to get up the steps with a cane. I love your house and wish I could live here all year! Thank you!

The house was perfect for our family of 10 (3 generations). It was very well equipped & had everything we needed. Close to town & the Yellowstone Park entrance. Did a scenic float, went to the hot springs, horseback trail ride, and saw wolves, bears, bison, elk, prong horn & all the views in the park. Lots of great memories were made. Thank you!

Place was awesome , It is the perfect spot to launch and return from long days in Yellowstone park . House is great and it had everything we needed. It was great spot for our family vacation , One of the best vacations my wife and adult children have ever had. Would definitely return here anytime !

Absolutely loved our stay. 9 adults and a 12 year old. Plenty of room for all of us. Right in Gardiner and close to everything including North entramce to Yellowstone. We saw elk of deer almost everday within seconds of the home. Pool table was fun entertainment. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook meals for a big group. Having a place to relax and unwind was amazing after a long day hiking in Yellowstone.

Hillside Hideaway exceeded expectations in every way. This was by far the cleanest and most stocked property we have stayed at on any vacation. It even had an ample amount of bear spray for our hiking trips inside Yellowstone. The location and proximity to Yellowstone, the grocery store, and restaurants were also a huge plus and made things very convenient. This is a perfect place to stay, especially for families wanting to explore the park and for those who love fly fishing. Being able to let the younger ones have the downstairs while the parents could relax and talk upstairs was a great perk. S'mores by the fire pit also made for some relaxed family time after a day on the go exploring the park.

My brother and I and our families brought our father to celebrate his 80th. The house couldn’t have been more perfect for the nine of us. The kitchen was well stocked, which is important since we ate many meals at the house. You can’t beat being minutes from the North Yellowstone entrance. And Kate is so easy to work with! The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens. We loved the firepit each night.

This property has everything you need for a large group. We had 8 adults, 3 kids and an infant for our family get together. Plenty of space on two levels, fully equipped kitchen with place settings for all, kitchen tools and a great set of pots and pans to make cooking for 12 easy as can be. Seating for all around the massive table and a pair of couches in the TV area. The deck, garden, and outdoor fireplace are exceptional. Smores come out just right, even has tools for roasting marshmallows. The pool table in its own section of the downstairs with a fireplace even has a bridge for those hard to set up shots. All the cues were straight and various weights. Bedrooms (3) downstairs share a full bath, upstairs master has an en-suite. One more bedroom upstairs and the other full bath in the hallway. Modern large capacity laundry set.Gardiner is the lesser traveled entrance to Yellowstone but it is a better place than West Yellowstone. Never an entrance line and Mammoth is 10 minutes into the park. Shorter drive to the Lamar valley for animal viewing than from anywhere else outside the park.Kate is a great host. We just had to ask to find one item and she delivered it right away. Instant communication every time. The house book is complete, it even shows how the downstairs shower controls work since they are somewhat unique.Overall a great place with everything you might need and great park access.

This is the third time staying here and we loved it...again! Perfect amount of room to allow a large family to spread out!!

Our extended family of 9 had a wonderful stay. House is in Gardiner and is super convenient to the north entrance to Yellowstone. The town of gardiner is also walkable from the house. The house is very clean and well decorated and has all the amenities one needs. Would definitely recommend to others planning a Yellowstone trip!

Our group was very pleased with the property and it added to the wonderful experience they had on the trip. The only feedback given was that the place was very dusty which caused some allergies to some in the group but other than that everything was great.

Everything went well and my family and I had a great time. The property is walking distance to the town and well located to enter Yellowstone Park. My only suggestion for improvement would be to replace the cantankerous shower head in the upstairs hall bathroom!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here!!! It was clean, beautiful, baby friendly, and so close to the entrance of Yellowstone. Barbara was great with communication and quick to respond. 5 stars!

Everything about this house was perfect. Generously sized rooms that were perfectly decorated for the location. Everyone felt as if they were truly staying in their “home away from home.” I could see us frequenting here again. If I had any critique, it would be that the directions should use physical landmarks, rather than ambiguous terms like “alley”, as it was extremely difficult to find. Overall however, it was a fantastic experience!

This house was perfect for the six of us. Location was great and very convenient to town. Barbra was great she’s answered all our questions in a timely manner. The house is very roomy and the view is amazing. Would love to go back.

This was the perfect home to accommodate our family of 9 for our time in Gardiner. Plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy time together. Everyone is already looking forward to a return as soon as possible.

We had an amazing experience at our stay. The lodge had a lot of amenities way over we had expected. This is the closest one for our big family group of 12 adults and one kid. The location was amazing, the host had taken a lot of care for all our details.

This is a great home for large family. We had 11 family members that fit nicely. Home looks small from outside but is very nice inside. Basement is finished and a very nice space with bedrooms and family room with pool table. Nice sauna on 1st floor. Yard is small and enclosed with very nice firepit area. It is great location for see Yellowstone Park. Like Gardner much better when West Yellowstone. Great home and great trip.
