Experience Waterfront Luxury on the Burton Peninsula, Vashon Island

If you’re lucky enough to stay here, then good for you. George is great guy. My husband and I drove up from CA to visit our grown sons in Washington State for thanksgiving. It was wonderful.

This has become our Vashon home away from home. We feel so comfortable at the Spano house and property. It is a great place for our large extended family to come together to soak up the beauty and peace of Vashon. Lots of space, all the amenities are there, access to the water and Burton Acres. All you could want in an island getaway.

I could not have been happier with this property! It had everything... nice dock, nice beach front, nice fire pit, and a nice large patio with ample seating,. That’s just the outside! The interior of this home was beautifully decorated and well maintained with sweeping water views. George was fabulous to work with and his pride in his family home was evident. This Vashon Island property is warm and cozy and incredibly inviting. It feels like a home, not a rental. The owner of this beautiful waterfront home was more than accommodating and was extremely helpful. George came personally to let us in early and the house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. I would love to come back in the summer and experience the water and all the activities that go with it. The property is maintained meticulously and very private. Great for families to get together and create memories. This home is a very special place.

Situated between a waterfront park and a fantasy-inspiring forest, this is a perfect place for dogs and humans. We also liked having the roving deer visit the yard to share the bounties of the apple and plum trees.

We all thoroughly enjoyed everything Vashon has to offer. Great location on the water with gorgeous views to the east. The kitchen is well stocked and beds are comfortable. Fun for the whole family!

The whole extended family was happy and comfortable. Thank you for all of the seating and activities. We didn't want to leave. My 2 year old nephew decided it was his new home. The walking trail across the street from the end of the driveway was a great amenity to have so close.

The house is amazingly able to absorb a lot of adults and kids without anyone feeling cramped. It's beautifully appointed in every possible way. Undoubtedly the best of many houses I have rented from VRBO. The kitchen is full stocked with all the cooking implements, and appliances etc. you could ever need. Our family of 5 adults and 4 kids, ages ranging from 8 to 76 were all very happy with our accommodations and the spacious outdoor areas for games, slip-n-slides and the owners provide great water sport gear (kayaks, paddles boards, row boat). The kids fished off the pier (no big catches but some little ones). The spacious deck overlooking the water is fabulous and we spent a lot of time reading and having meals out there.The one drawback was the jellyfish that moved into the area around the dock. Perhaps a factor of the low tide, but something to check with the owner if that is a concern as it prevented the kids from doing more water sports than they might have otherwise. The owner is very available and accommodating. I cannot recommend this property more highly.

We stayed at this beautiful beach home for our family reunion in June 2018. The house is nicely decorated, very clean, super comfortable, and well stocked of all supplies. My husband and I slept in the basement which was nice and cool on a hot day. The basement also had a ping pong table and tons of toys for kids. We had access to their paddle boards and kayaks. The house is located next to a nice beach park. The view outside was picturesque. The neighborhood is very bike friendly and had lots of deer. This house is perfect for entertaining a large family reunion. I would definitely rent this home again.
