Dubois, Wyoming
Custom log home located on 9 peaceful acres with exclusive access to 1400 feet of the Wind River. Outstanding fishing for Browns, Cutthroats and Rainbows. Less than 50 miles to Yellowstone and Teton National Parks. Only 70 miles to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Surrounded by the Shoshone National Forest and the Absaroka Mountains, Dubois and the Upper Wind River Valley are famous for outdoor recreational activities. Fishing, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, rodeos and miles of ATV trails. Union Pass is only a few minutes away and we are only 40 minutes from Togwotee Pass and the Continental Divide, providing a winter paradise for snowmobilers and back-country skiers. This is the perfect year-round retreat.
We have stayed at this property a couple times and hope it continues to be a yearly event. Guests and family love everything about it. Well decorated, well stocked and beautiful setting. Highly recommend for a stay in Dubois.
Wonderful property, meet or exceeded all our expectations; we’ll be back.
We stayed June 24-July 1. Great space for family of 4-6. Proximity to town and National Parks is excellent (I enjoyed being close to Dubois as I am a fan of that area) We did hikes in the Dubois Badlands as well as the Fitzpatrick wilderness in addition to visiting the parks. Rodeo on Friday was a lot of fun. Overall great place to stay and family really enjoyed the cabin.
This wonderful property made the vacation of adventure and fun even more enjoyable. We saw 2 Great Gray Owls in the trees in the back. My brother in law is a retired NPS retired ranger and verified what we saw. So exciting to see rare owls like these Highly recommend this property
This AWESOME BEAUTIFUL PARADISE is the ultimate getaway. We are so blessed that the awesome owners of the place were able to share it with us for our getaway. Awesome beautiful home on the inside and outside. Beautiful surroundings on the outside with lots of wildlife. The owners of this cabin where awesome from start to finish. Made our stay unforgettable. We recommend this getaway to anyone
The location on the river was beautiful and relaxing. We spent hours sitting on the porch catching up on the new and reminiscing on the old.
We loved our stay…the Wind River literally flows just feet away as we sipped coffee in the morning and grilled at night. Just a few things would bring it to five stars: Fix the ice maker and the humidifier (it’s dry and we came from a much more humid climate.)Add a TV in the main living room with ability to connect Fire TV or Apple TV, etc. Like I said, nothing that was not something we overcame, but should be expected at this price point. Thank you for allowing us to stay.
The house and property were absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed coffee out on the deck every morning, and cocktails in the evening. We will definitely be back!
We loved the Lazy A. The setup was wonderful. Great outside deck surrounding the house for lounging and enjoying the Wind River. Spacious inside with large well stocked kitchen. Even had a an office with great connectivity when duty called. Take a walk across the bridge down Stoney Point Road. Loads of Pronghorn Antelope. Mark and Trina .Thanks for being great hosts. Will definitely be our first choice when in DuBois.
We really enjoyed our stay on the Wind River! The living area is comfortable, and very relaxing especially with the fire going, and the screen doors open so you can hear the river. Lots of space and multiple bathrooms are a plus. Close to Dubois yet you feel like you’re alone on a river ranch in the middle of the mountains. Would definitely stay here again! Only recommendation would be to upgrade the TVs for easy single-remote functionality so guests can access their streaming services simply.
Our family got to spend almost a week at this house and were so sad to leave. House was clean, well stocked, comforts of home with spectacular views of the mountains and Wind River on the property. Only a few miles from Dubois where there are grocery stores, restaurants & other attractions just a few minutes away. It was our first visit to Wyoming and we fell in love with the area. The pictures do not do the property justice!
This place was perfect for our group.beautiful home. Great location to parks and to town. Beautiful scenery. Loved being right on the river. Saw so much wildlife. Communication with owners was great as well.
