Excellent communication prior to our stay with very fast response to questions. Amenities to meet every need and organized. It is a beautiful property, clean inside and out very comfortable for our group of six adults. Highly recommend for a great northern Wisconsin get away

Property was great! Lots of room both in the house and land. So many places to sit and enjoy the lake and I was shocked the mosquitos weren't very bad!!. Sunsets we're beautiful fishing wasn't great but turtle hunting was! We really enjoyed that we could walk down to the river and the kids could wade and fish there as well. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boats and bonfire. Owners were very friendly, easy to communicate with and got back to us quickly with any questions we had. I will say the bottom of the lake is a muck bottom even though the beach is sand (even jumping off the floating dock my husband sunk a bit). All in all had a great stay!

This property is a perfect way to unwind and enjoy nature. We saw lots of wildlife and especially enjoyed watching fawns at the edge of the lake playing in the water. It is so quiet there - a pleasant escape from city life. Having kayaks available for our use was awesome, we had fun paddling around the lake. The owners are awesome and even took us on a tour of the hiking trails. We can't wait to return!

Great place to stay!

We had a splendid family reunion enjoying kayaking, paddle boarding, and sandcastle building. We gathered to play games, relax in the sun, and visit in the many indoor and outdoor gathering places provided. We made our family favorite recipes in the well equipped kitchen and ate together at the huge dining table. There were plenty beds for sleeping all 11 of us. We loved it!

First time in over 10 years that I've been able to be with all my kids (and now their loved ones) on Thanksgiving, and we had a great time!!! The house was beautiful & the property was drop dead beautiful! It was especially special, as we stayed at another property that Jody (owner) rented a long time ago (20-25 years) probably over a dozen different times...and I didn't know that until I signed my contract and saw her name. A spectacular hostess!!

Our stay was wonderful! Home was immaculate and very spacious. We went in October and the Fall colors were so beautiful!! Jim and Jody were fabulous hosts and very helpful!! We will definitely return at some point when we can stay longer!!

Very nice piece of property - the weather was perfect the sleeping accommodations were very comfortable- a lot of room to sit for meals as a family and around the inside and outside of the home - the stars were so BIG and BRIGHT - there was enough kayaks and paddle boats for all to enjoy

This rental was lovely. Very clean, the owner met us and showed us around, even took us on a ride on the many trails. Great short hike to the river. If we ever come back, we will most definitely swim in the river. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need, including sharp knives!! We had a fire with the requisite s'mores one night. Grandson had a blast with mom and aunt Hannah on the paddle boat. Even did a little fishing (no luck). Sandy beach was great for the many trucks and dozers he brought to play with. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this rental for a memorable family vacation!!

What a beautiful property and location! We had such a wonderful time with family fishing, riding, walking, and just enjoying the quiet of the woods. We plan to make it an annual trip!

Great place for a family getaway. Plenty for the kids to do and very private and quiet.

Our stay here was better than expected. The property is beautiful and offers so many amenities we stayed busy all four days! Our families were always doing something, we even had plans to leave and explore other cities but didn’t want to leave the property because we were having to much fun! We are already planning to book again!

Our family had an excellent time staying here! The lake house has great views of the private lake. It was very clean, bedrooms comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with cook wear. The kids had a blast at the beach, swim float, kayaking, peddle boat and row boat. Panfish were biting and good size. Miles of hiking trails on the property were fun to explore. Owner keeps them mowed well. Beautiful lounge area at the river to relax and use the dock. We transported the kayaks up to the Mooney Dam and floated back to the property. Great scenery and wildlife viewing. Highly recommend this property! You won’t be disappointed!

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, stay at the lake vacation~this is your spot!!! Kids loved just hanging out and disconnecting for a few days! We did travel to Duluth for the train and to see Lake Superior which was an easy drive. Listing is accurate so bring anything and everything not on their list! Enjoyed this vacation so much!

Perfect place to stay for wedding at the atrium

This is an ideal location for a family getaway. The house is spacious and slept 9 of us comfortably. The home is very clean and in excellent shape. There are abundant places to sit and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake no matter the weather. The kitchen is large with newer appliances and stocked with any cooking pans/utensils you will need. There was a bonus refrigerator in the garage as well which we put to good use. The outdoor area provides for so many activities and the proximity to the lake is huge. Our daughter loved playing on the well maintained beach and we all enjoyed swimming in the lake. The lake water is crystal clear and we had a lot of success fishing including several blue gills and northern pike. The private trail system behind the lake is unbelievable. It allows for direct private access to the Eau Claire river only a five minute walk from the house. We also saw tons of wildlife including deer running through the river and playing in the lake. We met the owner upon arrival and he was incredibly friendly. It is apparent he has gone to great lengths to make the property to make it a great experience for visitors. He even took us out and showed us around the trails which we very much appreciated. We were incredibly happy with this rental and are already planning our trip for next year. Book with confidence!
