A true gem on Cady mountain at the center of San Juan island. Every corner of the island is no farther than 20 minutes away, so you can conveniently adventure in a different direction every day, and then come home and enjoy the piece and beauty of the island right from the deck of the home with views of the forest and Haro straight with Canada on the horizon and watch it all dissolve into a starlit sky. This is a special place that I would recommend to anyone visiting the islands!

Great home a wee bit off the beaten path (which is exactly what we were looking for). Everything on San Juan Island is pretty close and we had a great time. We wanted a place with no fire works (for my dog). Dog friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Wanted to get away with my brother and parents for my mom's 80th birthday and Karen's place was great. San Juan Island is small enough to easily get to Friday Harbor, Roche Harbor and all the great parks but staying at Karen's place you feel like it's just you and nature when you're there. If I decide to stay on San Juan Island again with a larger group, I would definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in this beautiful vacation home. The kitchen is stocked with absolutely everything you could need and the home is spotless. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, and the views from the deck were stunning.

Nice and quiet with beautiful surroundings. Easy to navigate to anywhere on island. Did not see any wildlife during our trip.

Family of 5 adults stayed and couldn’t ask for a better home and location. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The view was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host quickly responded to questions.

Our stay was perfect for our family of 4 as well as my mother in law including 2 dogs. The view is amazing and i love how you can see it from inside just as well as on the deck. Karen was wonderful to communicate with. We had a couple of minor supply issues and Karen immediately brought us what we needed. She always responded right away if I had a question. Great experience!

This mountain house was absolutely beautiful, just as advertised. We had a wonderful stay. Communication with the property manager/owner was easy and she quickly responded before and during our stay. Would definitely stay at this house again, should the opportunity present itself.

This is out third time at this house. Always a good place great view away from town but less than 15 minutes to Friday Harbor. Looks like the Island is still recovering from the pandemic. Several of our favorite places closed or gone. Still a good quiet time. Not touristy at all.

First time to the San Juan Islands and didn’t really know what to expect other than photos. Well the pictures do not do justice on how beautiful this place is on the side of a mountain. Location is perfect since it’s only 20 - 15 minutes away from almost everything on the island. It was a great family vacation.

Beautiful property with stunning views.

This property was a perfect getaway. Located halfway between Roche and Friday Harbors. It had a great view of the water from atop Cady Mountain. It also came equipped with everything we needed.

My family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! The house was plenty of room for us and created a warm environment for our trip. The views were amazing and we even saw Bald Eagles from our deck. The host was extremely friendly and quick to respond. We would definitely stay again!

Halfway between Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor, this 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin has it all! Beautiful large master suite with a fantastic shower on the upper level, and two bedrooms and a romantic claw foot tub on the main, this property is quiet and secluded, perfect for leaving the more crowded areas behind. A well deserved 5 star rating, I would encourage anyone visiting San Juan to check this property out. It's top notch!
