Evergreen Lake Cottage

Evergreen Lake Cottage | Hot Tub | Tranquility | 6 Acres

About this space

Wake up surrounded by woods at Evergreen Lake Cottage, a private two-bedroom retreat on six acres near Warden Lake. The cottage is most comfortable for 4–5 guests and can accommodate up to 7 using the twin loft pullout and living-room sofa bed. After hiking, fishing or exploring Wardensville, return to two adjustable queen beds, two full bathrooms, a private 3-person hot tub, covered deck, fire pit, wood stove, full kitchen and Starlink Wi-Fi.

The cottage is near Warden Lake but is not lakefront. The walk to the usable lake-access point takes approximately 5 minutes. Seasonal mountain views are filtered through the surrounding trees.

The living room features vaulted, natural pine ceilings, farmhouse-style painted wood walls, and a stone hearth with a wood stove. A large sectional serves as the perfect spot for long naps or epic games of chess, and the dining room table is the perfect place for meals or game nights.

The loft area features the primary bedroom and en-suite bathroom, a Roku TV, and a LoveSac bean bag for ultra-comfortable viewing.  The main floor features the second bedroom and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and laundry area. Each bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove, microwave, convection oven/air fryer, coffee maker, milk frother, toaster, etc.

The exterior of the cottage features a covered rear deck with a three-person hot tub that has an ultra-massage lounge seat. The back deck also has a wooden swing and outdoor seating. During the spring and summer, playful hummingbirds visit the feeders lining the deck.

Each queen bed comes with an adjustable base for custom head and foot positions, memory foam mattresses and pillows, and extra blankets for a truly personalized and comfortable stay.

The cottage is minutes from Wardensville, West Virginia, where you'll find and eclectic trading post, farmers market, shopping, and dining. The cabin is also surrounded by several hiking trails and is a short walk to Warden Lake, which offers trout, bass, and catfish fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding.
