Evans Heaven

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Evans Heaven. The cabin was so clean and welcoming that you will feel home. The communication and hospitality was top notch and the location was breath-taking. Would definitely stay there again if ever have the chance to return to the area.

Everything was perfect, Hot Tub was hot, kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. One little extra was a fun search for little ducks that my grand daughters had a great time trying to find all of them around the house.We will be back.

This was the perfect spot that is far enough for peace and quiet, yet close enough to drive in to town for activities. The owners were so kind and this home is so cozy! There is a large creek close by that we sat by for lunch a few times! There were often deer friends visiting outside throughout the day. Would absolutely stay here again!

We absolutely loved this property. Very well stocked in kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, games. Everything we needed and more. Very clean and comfortable. We saw deer and lots of birds in the yard every day. The owners are very nice and responsive. The location was perfect for all the off road trails and hiking we were doing. We will look forward to booking this again.

Beautiful home in a perfect location. The house has everything needed and the host left a very nice welcome basket of goodies. Truly one of the best rental experiences we have had.

House was amazing!! You can really tell the difference between the owner running the property vs. a management company. The was a very nice welcome package and a note from the owner. Great touch.

We loved everything about our stay. Thanks to the Evan’s family for having a well equipped home. We loved setting outside in the evening to watch the deer move about. But the most fun was searching for the small hidden ducks. Would stay again

Tammy and Dave were great hosts. The home was lovely and clean. There was plenty of things for kids to do. The views were amazing. We can't wait to come back.

Evan’s Heaven was the perfect setting for three gradeschool friends celebrating our 50th high school reunion. The home was beautifully appointed, immaculately clean and Tammy was able to accommodate our request for an early check-in. It’s a short drive to Ouray or Ridgway and a beautiful drive to Telluride. Many places to hike, eat, shop, soak in a hot spring (or the hot tub on the deck) or take a jeep excursion nearby. Our group highly recommends this rental. The gift basket and duck hunt were icing on the cake! Enjoyed it all!

This was an Oasis in the mountains--peaceful and beautiful, yet close to town. We had three of our grandchildren ages 16-21 with us. We were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked. The towels were nice and thick and plenty of them. Our two teenage granddaughters even enjoyed the playground swing. The hot tub was nice with the mountain views. We highly recommend this place. The host and hostess were there to meet any need we might have, gracious and accommodating.

Great location- 3 miles from Ouray and 6 miles from Ridgway. Quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable accommodations.

Very comfortable home, complete with everything you might possibly need, in addition to a hot tub, playset, fire ring, and laundry facilities. So grateful to stay at such a relaxing, peaceful location. The hosts answered all of our questions, went out of there way to ensure our happiness. Highly recommend anyone thinking about staying in the area to stay here. Thank you for sharing your home with us…comfortable for all ages including our very young grandchildren and daughter and son in law in their thirties, as well as my husband and myself in our sixties.

This property is amazing! Very comfortable beds, couches, and outdoor spaces. The tree house, big yard, creek, fire pit, and hot tub were perfect for us and our 5 year old grandson. Location between Ouray and Ridgway was perfect; close to town but quiet and peaceful. Super clean and cozy. Tammy and Dave were always available when we had questions about local recommendations. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay at Evans Heaven during an October trip to see the fall colors. The house was clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed. There was even a gift basket waiting when we checked in. Deer and birds visited the yard every day. Tammy was a great host and was helpful over text messages throughout our visit. The wifi was also fast enough to work remotely. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking to enjoy the southwest Colorado scenery, especially during fall!

This property is amazing. Better than we could have hoped for. We all loved the peace and quite as well as the visits from the deer and birds. Clean and stocked with everything we needed.

The place was great!! Pictures online do not do it justice. It was very reasonably priced, clean, comfy, and the playset for the kiddos was a plus. We took a 22’ car trailer with ATV’s and there was plenty of room for us to get around. The area is quiet and very safe! We felt as if we were at our home in the country! Tammy and her husband were excellent hosts! They made us and our feral children feel very welcome, and told us to just let the kiddos run, scream, and play in the yard. She commented on how much it reminded her of her grandkids! They may live right next door but don’t let that scare you! They give you ample space! I highly recommend this place. We will be going back!!

Our stay at Evan’s Heaven was wonderful! The house was stocked with everything a family needed. It was just as easy as being home. Having use of the grill and hot tub just made things even better! There was plenty of room to park a large RV and 3 Jeeps in the driveway. There was so much extra space that we never felt over crowded or in each other’s way. The location of the property is centrally located in the middle of all the trails but still close enough to town if we wanted to go out to eat, grab coffee in town or do some shopping. Communication with the owner was easy just like texting a friend. We would definitely stay here again.

Evan’s Heaven was a fantastic property, ideal for togetherness. The large living room, kitchen, and dining area were perfect for preparing meals as a group or relaxing after an adventurous day. The large deck had ample seating and perfect for morning coffee. Highly recommended!!

Tammy went above the standard vacation home rentals and texted me day of and after I left to make sure everything was okay. She and her husband had a thoughtful gift package upon arrival with personalized cards and jam! They home was a perfect fit, especially for little ones! The sandbox and trucks were a hit!

The cabin was in a great location for hiking in Ridgeway and Ouray area. Wildlife all around, and everything we needed in the house.

Wow! Tammy’s place is absolutely wonderful. Top notch amenities, thoughtful touches, adequate privacy, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, well-appointed kitchen, communicative host, and incredibly reasonable price point! Tammy thought of everything. We’d love to stay here again when we come back to Ouray.
