Stayed Jun 21, 2025We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Holden at this must be the place. We were able to relax and recharge. You have the beauty of the marsh as well as sounds of the ocean .Everything was clean and the house is perfect for a beach rental . It has everything you need . We had a long drive from home so I had groceries delivered from Walmart in Shallotte and was able to cook and grill most nights . There are plenty of spices available for cooking . We went out to eat a couple of nights too .The house is spacious and comfy, and the kids enjoyed having tvs in their rooms at night when it was time to chill out . Enjoyed sitting on the front porch relaxing at night . The best part of the house is the pool. It is clean and refreshing. We did not need to heat the pool but it was also late June .The beach is only a short walk. Michael was a great landlord and responded quickly to any questions . I would highly recommend this house if you are looking for a rental for a week at Holden . My kids 12 and 14 had their scooters and electric bikes and had a blast riding in the evenings to the ice cream shop . I would’ve stayed two weeks if we could!

Stayed May 30, 2024What a lovely home this is—and it looks exactly like the photos! It is a very short walk to the beach. You have a lovely view of the marsh land with the pool and the birds! It’s heavenly! I loved having the laundry room—especially if you have an active family on the beach, the coffee maker makes both drip coffee and takes k-cups, and there are lots of kitchen utensils and even spices! We had the best time—and so relaxing ?!!! Well worth every penny!
