This property has an amazing location with a beautiful view. I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the wildlife, and I would strongly recommend visiting this place for that experience. However, the major downside of our stay was the cleanliness. The house was extremely dirty — there was dust everywhere, hair on the bed headboards, and the floors were so filthy that everyone’s socks turned black within 30 minutes. I have stayed in many properties before, and unfortunately, I have never seen one this unclean. The host did not accept this complaint and insisted the house was clean, which was very disappointing.Overall, I do recommend this property for the view and atmosphere, but I highly advise requesting a thorough cleaning in advance to ensure a more pleasant stay.

The property was beautiful—brand new with stunning views along the canal and amazing sunsets. We truly enjoyed the location and setting. That said, there are a few areas for improvement that future renters should be aware of but in no way should deter them from renting this place. Upon arrival, the A/C was off and there was no welcome booklet or house instructions. We learned from neighbors, who were renting a similar unit, that they received clear info—including trash pickup guidance. There was no WiFi password left, and with limited cell service, this was frustrating until we got a response. The house had very limited basic supplies: less than a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, only one roll of paper towels, no laundry pods, or even cleaning products. The floor had been vacuumed but not washed—our feet turned black, and no mop or supplies were provided to rectify. We also saw a cockroach in the laundry room. No beach chairs or hose to rinse off beach items were provided and the outside shower water supply was shut off. When coming back from the beach, you need to be able to hose and rinse. My husband had to use the broom handle we brought to reach it high enough to switch the valve. Guests must bring all linens and towels, which is fine but not even hand or kitchen towels were available. Overall, it’s a beautiful home in a peaceful location, but with a few thoughtful additions, considering the price point, and clearer communication, the experience could be much better.
