Stayed Mar 2, 2025Very nice and well appointed house in a very quiet neighborhood. Backs onto the Venice Waterway Park trail for biking and walking. 10 minute walk to Shamrock Park Nature Center. Hosts couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating. Stayed for 4 weeks and weren’t ready to leave. We’ll be back!

Stayed Jan 12, 2025Mary was very easy to get ahold of and responded quickly to any questions or concerns! The area is very quiet and a stones throw away from the Legacy Trail and Shamrock Park, which enjoyed walking on! We enjoyed it so much we came back for a return visit!

Stayed Dec 29, 2024Clean, well-maintained property. Set up with 2 bedrooms, each with an attached bath was very nice. Kitchen with lots of space. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood adjacent to park and waterway biking trail. Close to everything in Venice. We really enjoyed our stay!

Stayed Apr 7, 2024Labor of Love was perfect for my wife and I. The home was clean, the floor plan was efficient and it is located in a quiet neighborhood. We loved its proximity of being within 1-3 miles of shopping, beaches and restaurants. Mary Lynne was an excellent host and checked in with us several times to make sure that all was well with our stay. We highly recommend the Labor of Love.

Stayed Apr 23, 2023One typically goes on vacation to relax and enjoy their vacation. That was part of our expectations when we booked this past vacation. The house was lovely the interaction of several text messages from the house owner over things that weren't being done made for a high anxiety vacation far from the relaxing one we had planned.

Stayed Jan 8, 2023The house was perfect in every way. Gary and Mary were the perfect Host and Hostess! They thought of every convenience for their renters! Any questions we had were answered immediately! We loved having the Legacy Trail in our back yard. We were privileged to be a part of Bobcat and Dolphin sightings! We recommend this labor of love home to anyone who enjoys walking and loves the Great outdoors! Having close access to so many of the area beach’s is also a plus. You will not be disappointed!
