Property just as described. Very clean and in good condition. Great wildlife viewing.

We loved our stay and the amazing views. The place was spotless and close to a cute little store, 2 restaurants and coffee/ice cream shop. Would definitely stay there again and can highly recommend.

We love our stay here. Great view. See lots of eagles and blue herons during low tides and many otters around. The house is very clean and fills our need. The only thing we feel inconvenience is that we were instructed to call the owner to obtain the access code around noon on the check-in day. This means we will have to stop by some place having signal at that time. As result, we have to rearrange our itinerary (hiking) accordingly. We may go back again.

We stayed at the Union Beach House rental for a full week May 13 to May 26. In our 50 years of travels, hands down, it was one of the top places we have rented!! From the adorable flower/garden entrance to the side fire pit area, to the huge back deck with gorgeous views of Hood Canal and mountains was amazing! The inside of this home was spotless and had everything you could need and then some! The owner Kevin was great! He was quick to respond (even while he was away) for a simple T.V. remote issue. We are from Massachusetts on the Atlantic and wanted to see Washington state and ONP area. We were looking for a quiet place with amazing views and got it and more! Sitting on the deck day and night was great! We saw so many eagles in nests and flying by. Loved watching the daily seal pups! So very cute! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets each day. Shelton just 20-minute drive for restaurants, groceries etc. One day we drove rt. 101 to Quinault Rain Forest and another to Port Angeles, Hurricane Ridge and Crescent Lake area. The drives were long, but lots to see along the way. Having this rental as a homebase made it well worth it!!! We also took a day to drive up and explore Poulsbo, Point No Point beach/ lighthouse, Port Gamble and over the Hood canal bridge, stopped at (famous) Fat Smitty's and drove to top of Mt Walker! Can't say enough about this fabulous rental! If you are looking for a relaxing, beautiful place.... this is it! A top 10 rental for sure! Thank you Kevin!

The pictures don't do it justice. The views of the hood canal and the olympics are astounding! This property is wonderful, from the amenities and attention to detail, to its charm and beauty. We loved the beach access giving our pup an opportunity to dive in and dry on the deck in the sun. Pro tip: re-orient the small reclining couch to face the mountains for a romantic sunset view.Will definitely be back!

This was our fourth time staying at this property and it was absolutely amazing. The property was beautiful. The outside landscaping was nice. The house was clean and well stocked. We had the most wonderful weather and the views are incredible. The whole trip was a giant success. We were able to walk on the beach and sit on the deck and just relax. The outdoor furniture is in great shape. We didn't use them, but there is a fire pit and gas barbecue if you want. There also was so much wildlife. Eagles in the trees behind the house as well as out on the beach at low tide. Cranes, ducks, seagulls and seals right in front of us that we could watch from the deck. Kevin was easy to work with and the house was pet-friendly, too. HIGHLY recommend this home.

We had such a wonderful time here. Amazing views of the water, mountains, sunsets and wildlife. It was so nice to watch the changing tides and ecosystem. Comfortable home with privacy and everything you need to have a great getaway!

This was our fourth stay at Kevin’s house. We‘ve stayed at a number of places around Hood Canal but this home is exceptional! The water and mountain views along with the ideal Canal location, the excellent cleanliness, the proximity to Union (easy walk) and the privacy make it our favorite!

Wonderful getaway! The views are gorgeous with plenty of wildlife to see and you can't miss them because you are right on the water. The house was clean and furnished with everything we needed to have a relaxing stay.

Stunning views, and a beautiful, very comfortable residence. It was even more impressive in person than it was in the photos on the reservation. Really spectacular!

Extremely clean and well-appointed home with spectacular views. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. The Olympic mountains were unfortunately shrouded in smoke, then clouds, but we thoroughly enjoyed watching the abundant marine life. We saw numerous seals, heron, geese, and more. And so many oysters! The outdoor deck seating and fire pit overlooking the water provided a much-needed relaxing and serene weekend.

We saw seals, fish, birds, and was able to walk the beach at low tide and pick oysters. Turns out the inside is pretty nice too. Great kitchen, and we had everything we needed to cook meals (you will still want to plan for ingredients). Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean and spacious. The living room was nice and comfy, and the large windows make you feel like you are sitting outside on the wonderful deck. So, what are you waiting for?

The house is well stocked, in a great location and has comfortable beds. The view is phenomenal, even with the smoke from nearby fires. We will definitely stay here again!

This home was beautiful. We loved the cozyness of it. Beds are very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. The view was everything. We even got to see an Orca swim by. Highly recommend. MP

The property is absolutely wonderful. The house has everything anyone could need. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils. We slept like babies as the bed was extremely comfortable. It was fun to watch all the wild life. One morning there were 12 Blue Herons standing in the shallows during low tide. Watched a seal devour about a 10 lb salmon. We live in Spokane and if it wasn't such a long drive, we would try to stay here once every couple of months. Many thanks to the Ehlers for the use of the Union City Beach house. Lovely property with great water access. We saw lots of seals, eagles and a few herons from the comfortable and very well-equipped deck. Nearby state park offers enjoyable forest walks. Kitchen and bathroom were perfectly clean and well stocked. Three humans and one small dog had a very enjoyable visit!

Great location right on the water. We paddleboarded daily and enjoyed the view.

This was our 10th visit to your beautiful property! We love it each time and can't wait to go back again! This time we saw 3 Orcas, a yellow jelly fish, and 2 fishermen on the sandbar at low tide! This place is a gem! It was even better than the photos and the host did a great job with all the details to make our stay comfortable. It was a very easy place to be and the views and wildlife were spectacular. Comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, and even floaties, towels and water shoes for the beach were provided. I will definitely be back!

Excellent rental. The house was clean, attractive, well appointed and very comfortable. The view and location were outstanding. I highly recommend this rental and will absolutely stay there again if I return to this area in the future.

At high tide you feel like you are standing on the bow of a boat and low tide several bald eagle make the beach home. Well appointed home with all the necessities, clean, and a great place to relax.

Found this gem on Vrbo and loved it; especially impressed with the kitchen - lots of cookware, morw than just the basics, and plenty of space for two couples or family meal.Lovely deck with easy access at low tide to clamming and oyster picking. Couple of blankets perfect for morning coffee. Lots of nice touches, making for a very comfortable stay. We will very likely be back.

Host very responsive to all my texts & questions. We were celebrating my birthday & Mother’s Day. House was very clean & they left some snacks & apples for us to enjoy. The view was gorgeous we saw some seals & eagles. The bed was one of the best to sleep on. In all our traveling best bed so soft.Kevin allowed us to bring our dog even though he’s not services dog which was a plus for us. We definitely recommend this house & we looking forward to come back.House is very isolated & quiet if you looking to get away from all the commotion definitely this is the place to be. My husband & I enjoyed our stay 10 out 10 grading

This was an amazing location. Enjoyed watching all of the wildlife. We brought our dog and the property is enclosed so I didn’t need to worry about him getting out or hurting himself. The kitchen is stocked well and the beds were comfortable. We will stay here again.

My husband and I stayed in this lovely home for a 4-day weekend. The home was just as advertised, with all the amenities provided to make our stay comfortable. The owner was great to work with. Just love this area to relax and unwind. We would definitely like to rent this home again!

I arrived during a very cold afternoon and was greeted by a warm house with beautiful views. The lovely home was absolutely clean and a peaceful place. There were extra blankets provided for the extraordinarily cold days and nights. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked and so lovely. I wish I could live here full time. I truly love this place (I must as this was my second time staying in less than a year.). Truly recommend staying here!!

Just a pleasant getaway. The property is better than described - really nice and good place. Arriving was very welcoming with the heat on and the place warm. The views are fantastic, with the seals, herons, and eagles keeping me entertained. A wonderful escape from the city.

Such a beautiful home and garden...everything was lovely,. Enjoyed the canal and tide changes, bringing the birds and seals, other creatures close to the house....sitting on the deck was a very popular pastime, as well as reading, . Lovely community and people in Union.
