Are stay was absolutely perfect. We stay here whenever we come down to Virginia Beach the place is a very nice little neighborhood spot close to everything, and nice for the dog. Always very clean.

We could not have asked for a better stay! We stayed for 3 weeks and the house was well stocked. We had great cooking pots and kitchen gadgets! Lots of great spices. There were plenty of towels and washcloths. The shower was hot and the bed was comfy. The backyard was fenced and we felt our dog was safe. The front deck was private and wonderful in the sunshine. We were a 10 minute car ride to the Virginia Beach boardwalk and a 10 minute walk to a great park with lots of trails.This is a gem with wonderful hosts.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful home. The host, John, thought of everything to make our stay fantastic from the thoughtful decorations for Christmas to the soaps and paper plates. We've never stayed at a VRBO that was so fully stocked! Everything we needed was provided. Definitely want to return next year!

The kitchen was very very well stocked seasonings and all. The bathroom was well stocked. The whole place was in excellent condition and clean. It smelled nice. The tvs were easy to set up with my own streaming services. The furniture and bed were very comfortable. The owners were so pleasant about everything. I really can’t say enough good things about the house and the owners. We will absolutely be staying here every time we come back if it’s available.

This place is not only extremely homey and cute, but they have anything you could need in the home. Down to a kennel and dog bowl in the closet. We have already decided if we come back that we are definitely staying here again! Its in a nice and quiet area and close to alot of things. Highly recommend!

The place was very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything you would need. Very cizy home and beautifully decorated in beach decor. The outside grounds were very nice and fully fenced both front and back for privacy. Would definitely syay again. The hosts were very nice and and always available if you have any questions.

The location was great. Near many restaurants and the beach. Very nice neighborhood. We actually met the hosts Who were super nice people.

Great stay. House was cozy, clean, beautifully decorated and convenient. Host was friendly and helpful when we called. Kitchen and entire house was well stocked with every possible convenience. Only slight negative was the noise from the fighter jets, although we got used to it. Would definitely stay at the crab shack again.Five stars!!

The location was perfect for us and our two dogs. Communication with the owner was great every step of the way. The condo was very clean and easy to keep clean, even with dogs. Would definitely recommend.

We really loved the home—it was perfect for a beach getaway and had everything we needed for a great stay. However, we did notice that it's located directly under the flyover, which brought some unexpected noise. Also, it seemed like there may have been a cat in the home at some point, as there was a noticeable pet odor. Despite those things, we truly enjoyed our time there and appreciated the overall experience.

Property was even better than portrayed in the pictures! Attention to detail including supplying things we might possibly need was the best we have experienced. We could not have asked for more. I even got some excellent photos of the F/A -18’s returning to Norfolk base. Our boy Simon appreciated his patch of grass as well. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

COMFORTABLE.

We had a wonderful stay and our pups were very happy. Having the fenced in areas in the front and back were great and we really enjoyed being able to walk to nice dog park in minutes. Neighbors were friendly.

This condo was top-notch, clean, and located close to the beach. No issues whatsoever. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Virginia Beach!

The property

The house was amazing. Clean well stocked it had things we forgot to bring as we got in late. Not sure if I liked the front yard or the back yard better. Both fenced in for my dog to enjoy. Quiet neighborhood very peaceful to sit outside in the morning. Definitely one of our favorite vacation homes.

Great location, property was perfect, had everything we needed.Very pet friendly as advertised, easy in and out of property. Close to beach and restaurants, very clean and tidy, front area is so relaxing to sit and hang out. The only negative was that the backyard grass was a little too long for our small dog to use for the bathroom.no biggie because the neighborhood is great for walking.

My stay at this wonderful property was a true delight! Tucked away in a peaceful, wooded neighborhood, it felt like a serene retreat while still being incredibly close to everything I needed. I especially loved the easy access to walking trails, a tennis court, and a fantastic dog park.For anyone traveling with dogs, this place is perfect! The fenced-in front and backyards provided a safe and spacious area for my furry friends to enjoy. The hosts truly went above and beyond with thoughtful extra amenities. We were so grateful for the refreshments and the well-stocked cooking supplies – it made settling in and enjoying our time so much easier. We also appreciated the overall sense of safety and security the property offered and a short drive from everything, including the beach! We took advantage of the local recommendations provided and absolutely loved Rudee's at the Inlet – a must-try! The fighter jets overhead was surprisingly cool and added a unique touch to our stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this property and will definitely be booking another stay here in the future!

We enjoyed our stay in this townhouse. The neighborhood was quiet, pleasant and good for walking our dog (great park nearby so that she could get off her leash and run around in an enclosed area!!). The amenities were great (laundry soap provided, coffee, lots of dishes/silverware, etc). The rooms were clean and tidy. Lots of clean towels to use and a washer/dryer so that we didn't need to pack much. We loved having the back enclosed porch and yard area - again for our beloved pup :-). The jets taking off from the Oceana Naval Air Station were loud, but at the same time a marvel to watch. Fortunately, the take-offs didn't start til after 8 (or maybe 9) a.m. and ended before we went to bed. We lived in Virginia Beach over 35 years ago and enjoy going back to visit relatives. We'll keep this one in mind when we make our next trip. Thank you!

This is an amazing place to stay! We were visiting our grandkids and stayed for a week. We had everything we needed. The host was easy to reach. The house was perfect! We will be booking again!

This home is lovely. Nice high-ceilings and nautical theme. Everything worked as it should and no problems whatsoever. Comfy bed. Lots of linens and things in case you need extra. Well-stocked kitchen and bath. The house and yard are very private. Would be a great place just to stay and relax and get away. Neighborhood is quiet, friendly. We brought our dog and many people had dogs as well. Loved the one-story and no steps for us.

We came into town to celebrate our grandsons birthdays and Christmas. We hosted our family for Christmas Eve dinner. Our hosts were very accommodating providing a table and table cloth. We couldn’t have had a more enjoyable time. We would highly recommend this home.

We felt right at home the moment we walked in the front door. The home is spotless and beautifully decorated, and has everything you can think of for an enjoyable stay. The kitchen was well stocked, complete with coffee/tea bar and fixings. The basket of nutritious snacks was a nice touch, which we enjoyed. The bed was very comfortable, with high quality linens and towels, and high end toiletries provided in the bathroom. Our pup loved it there too. We particularly enjoyed the enclosed front patio, where we caught some rays and watched the jets fly over, and our boy nibbled on his many toys. One morning we took a walk through Salt Marsh Park, and made our way down to the Rudee Inlet restaurants for delicious fresh seafood, just about a 30 minute walk. We would definitely book this lovely home again, and we are passing the info along to our pet parent friends. Thanks again, John & Rachel!

We loved this comfortably furnished, relaxing home so much. We were in town due to a family illness and coming back to this impeccably clean, well stocked home was a true gift. The “little touches” make such a difference in the comfort of a vacation experience. A platter of yummy snacks, cold water bottles in the fridge, Keurig pods, sugar, 1/2 and 1/2. A perfect rental property close to everything.

We were overwhelmed, the pictures did not do it justice! Everything you need is provided, even the dog didn’t want to leave!

The home was as described in the listing. Very well equipped. You only need to bring your clothes. Only a 5 min drive to beach. We had our dog with us and walked on the beach boardwalk. It was beautiful. The home is close to restaurants. I would definitely recommend for your vacation.

We really enjoyed staying here! It was just a couple blocks from a really nice park that has walking trails and a dog park. I really like that the living room is large enough to accommodate two dog crates easily. The owners provide a lot of little necessities, like toiletry items. The unit was super clean and nicely decorated. And the couch is quite possibly the most comfortable couch ever! Overall, I highly recommend this rental!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here along with our dog. The property was clean and provided all the amenities a person would need. The beach equipment (towels, chairs, cart and umbrella) was a plus and made our days at the beach enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

My now-fiancé and I stayed here for a weekend getaway, and it was perfect! We were less than 10 minutes away from the beach and pretty much anywhere we wanted to go, the property was much more spacious than we realized, and the house was so clean! We really loved being able to use the beach chairs/cooler/umbrella, that made our stay so much more convenient. It was so lovely to cook together and eat outside in the fenced-in front yard, and the house was so cozy and comfortable. We will DEFINITELY be staying here again if we come back to VA Beach!
