Stayed Jan 1, 2026The property is gorgeous and placed perfectly in Fernandina. The pictures of the backyard does not do it justice. Just wish it was warmer during our stay so we could have enjoyed it more. The kitchen is fully stocked minus groceries for extended stays.

Stayed Jun 1, 2023My husband and I stayed at this cute little bungalow for the month of June. The back porch and patio make for a great sanctuary and a nice escape from the heat. Location, location, location was perfection. We were able to walk to all the restaurants, bars, live music ect. Beach is a short bike ride or drive away. Loved our stay. We are already planning our next trip back to this beautiful little Island and plan to stay at Josh's property again.

Stayed Aug 23, 2022Small efficient, centrally located. It is perfect for a couple. Very clean, 2 bdrm. 2 bath. May be too small for two couples. Quiet location. 4 blocks from downtown, only minutes to beaches, and historical sites.

Stayed Jan 15, 2020A completely remodeled cottage with all new appliances and linens. The best part is the easy walk to downtown Fernandina, with all the great shops and restaurants, the pier (where we watched nightly sunsets) and a do-able walk to the beach and the greenway (we usually drove the 2 miles though). Already miss the front porch rocker.

Stayed Mar 1, 2019The cottage at 205 S. 9th Street was recently renovated inside and out. It has a clean modern look and is tastefully done with adequate furnishings for comfortable living. The two bedrooms are good size and the two baths are medium size with new fixtures one with a large shower and the other with a tub/shower. The kitchen is modern and attractive and flows openly into the living space enhancing the size of the kitchen living area. The front and back porches make nice sitting areas. The cottage is on its own lot with a private driveway. The neighborhood is quiet and located on the edge of the historic district. It is a short stroll past restored frame homes to restaurants and downtown shopping. The area is safe for walking and is one mile to the beach, Ft. Clinch, and the Egan Creek Greenway. The cottage is smallish but the two of us were comfortable there and we entertained two adult guests for four days during the month March. We would stay there again.
