Stayed May 30, 2026We had a wonderful and relaxing time at this special Cottage. The cottage is exceptionally clean and if you love to cook, the kitchen has everything a cook could ask for (very well stocked). The views were beyond my expectations and we enjoyed sight seeing from the deck along with the surrounding property. When we arrived, the owner's (Michael) mom Carol, met us at the home and she is extremely friendly and helpful as well. She gave us a tour of the home, the property and other info that was extremely helpful. Carol lives just down the road and is not intrusive at all, but we knew if we needed anything, she would take care of it. Carol is a gem. It was obvious they take a lot of pride in this property and it showed. It's a quick drive to Bath for groceries, we bought most of our groceries prior to checking in but went back a few times for some extras, since we were enjoying the scenic stay so much. Location is great when it comes to venturing out. I saw 4 seals in 2 days and a school of porpoises. Michael is easy to talk to and has put a lot extras into this property. We hope to go back sooner than not. Also, a General Store is just down the road for extras and take out, they even have lobster rolls! Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Stayed May 11, 2026It was perfect. Spacious and comfortable, but don’t have elderly guests because the steps to the upstairs guest rooms is steep. The master bedroom is on the first floor. The view out the back was well worth the stay. We saw loons, eider ducks, Canada geese, gulls, a bald eagle, and a small whale. It was quiet and peaceful. Lots of pots and pans including a lobster pot that we put to good use.

Stayed Jun 29, 2025This cottage is in the perfect location, surrounded by water and an easy walk to Five Islands Lobster. Every room was really comfortable, with plenty of space to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. We’ve never stayed in a more well stocked rental, there is nothing they haven’t thought of. The beds were all great, and having several bathrooms was great. We loved sitting outside watching the boats go by and the birds, mink and deer. Could not recommend this spot more highly, perfect!!

Stayed Oct 10, 2024This was our first trip to Maine and this home was our first stop (of three) during our stay. It definitely was our favorite! We enjoyed being welcomed by Carol and having the chance to ask questions. Having Reid State Park nearby is like having a beach in your backyard (thanks for the pass). I've stayed in numerous vrbos over the years and, by far, Michael is the most responsive host I've encountered.

Stayed Sep 13, 2024Michael and his mom were amazing hosts for our stay in Georgetown, Maine. Upon walking in to the home, I immediately felt comfortable and as if I were walking into a space that was filled with love, laughter, and so many other good things. The home was the perfect size, had the most amazing view, and satisfied my and my friend's need to climb on rocks and do some beach combing. :) We visited Reid State Park and attending the art fair, grabbed lobster rolls from Five Islands and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion to Michael is to include a note about the stairs leading up to the 2nd floor as they are rather steep. Those steps would not stop me from booking this space again. Thank you again for creating such a lovely space. Lisa & Greg

Stayed Sep 19, 2024This place at East Ledge on Georgetown Island was incredibly well appointed with everything one could want for a comfortable stay. All sorts of kitchen appliances, well-stocked cupboards, lap blankets for comfy lounging, books, puzzles, games, a TV room with a shelf of DVD's, outdoor chairs and table on a deck immediately overlooking Sheepscot Bay, with its seals and loons and lobster boats ... what more could you ask? Add to this a free pass to gorgeous Reid State Park (not to be missed!) just down the road and you've got something close to heaven.
