Electric Peak Retreat at Yellowstone National Park North Entrance

This home is simply magnificent. It’s comforting and cozy on cold evenings and dreamy to wake up to expansive views. We stayed here as a home base for our trip to Yellowstone, and it met every expectation. The home is well equipped with everything you need, plus the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on. We spent chilly mornings and evenings on the deck, watching the resident elk herd move through the valley. Very convenient to Gardiner and the north entrance to the park. It was hard to leave!

We absolutely loved the views of the property. Best location, so close to Yellowstone. We highly recommend this property. We saw elks in the morning by the river.

The house was perfect for our Yellowstone trip. We had four adults and two teenagers. The home was well stocked and plenty spacious.

Great location for access to the park. Comfortable home for our family to relax after long days in the park. Only complaints are no body wash in the shower and linens didn’t smell fresh. Enjoyed the many games to choose from.

This house was perfect for our family of 5 adults. It had plenty of space for us all to sleep and be together and it's a convenient distance to Gardiner and the entrance to Yellowstone. The scenery from the house is just beautiful! We saw (and heard) plenty of wildlife, especially elk (and baby elk!) Gardiner had everything we needed for the week (coffee, grocery and ice cream shops, restaurants and souvenir shops). We went to the hot springs pools just a few miles in the other direction and that was a fun afternoon too. The only reason I gave 4 stars for cleanliness was because there was quite a buildup of leftover condiments and such in the fridge when we arrived and also the lower level bedding sometimes smelled a bit musty but that certainly did not take away from our stay in this spectacular area. I would definitely recommend this house (and Gardiner and most of all Yellowstone!)

Exceptional! Was looking for a quiet place to round out our busy vacation in the mountains and The Electric Peak Retreat was perfect. This lovely home had everything we needed: fully stocked kitchen, laundry, wonderfully comfortable beds, and a peaceful view of the meandering Yellowstone River from just about every room in the house. We had a fantastic stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. Great location Every room has windows overlooking the river and mountains where we saw elk everyday. The house was very comfortable and nicely furnished. Everything we needed was there. We were concerned at first that it is off the main road but it was a non issue.

A family trip we are all really looking forward to after reading the reviews and seeing the pictures yet the reality still exceeded expectations! Beautiful thought out home with lots of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy the scenery and wildlife. The volume of wildlife incredible. Herds of over 200 elk, bald eagles, red fox, etc.

Loved our stay in this well-appointed home and grounds just north of Gardiner town center with near access to Yellowstone National Park. Stunning views from all rooms. Excellent kitchen and accoutrements, comfortable beds with nice linens, no clutter, excellent laundry, wonderful games and cozy spaces for children. Spotless. Hope to stay again. Many thanks.

The home and surrounding area was beautiful. Private and quiet yet close enough to town for anything we needed. Very convenient location to visit Yellowstone and Chico hot springs. We enjoyed our first time in Montana.

This home was everything we could have asked for AND more! The location was very convenient for our daily trips into YNP. The home was spacious, clean and offered many extras for our stay. The beds and linens were comfy, each room had ample space for our belongings for the week, board games for down time, a large dining table, stocked kitchen and our favorite feature …. a short path down to the Yellowstone River for swimming, fishing and relaxing on the beach. Immaculate views of Electric Peak, surrounding mountains and lots of wildlife - bald eagle and elk sightings daily made the trip extra special. It was an easy to drive to the park, dining options, rafting and the Yellowstone Hot Springs. I could not recommend this home more. Sandy has put a lot of extra special touches into this home. Do not pass up this gem on the Yellowstone.

Nothing bad to say about this house. All the amenities you need, beautiful place and amazing views. Very cozy and so close to Yellowstone. Would def come back again!

We were a larger family group (grandparents, adults and young children) and we felt very comfortable in the home. Plenty of space, clean and comfortable and the views are even more beautiful than the pictures can show. We spent a ton of time on the porch watching the river and Mountain views. Very close to north entrance of Yellowstone and just a few minutes to a small, but well-stocked grocery store down the street. We grilled and cooked our meals in the home. Fenced in yard was great for littles and lots of thoughtful details in the home for kids (pack’n play, books, cute stuffed animals and etc.). The host was always very responsive and we had no issues at all with the home. I would stay here again and recommend Sandy’s place to everyone!
