This property is quaint. I love the location! The beach is clean and so close. We walked to town and to art galleries. We love it and will return.

The house needs a deep cleaning. Closers are full of random clothes, linens and other miscellaneous items. Small appliances in the kitchen were dirty. Comforter in prime bedroom was dirty. It’s hard to write a review pointing out sine negatives because we had a terrific time there, just wished it was cleaner.

The view from the living room is spectacular. Also, getting onto the beach is very safe and easy. The concrete steps built into the boulders made our several trips from the house to the beach and back actually enjoyable. My family loved the house and is making sure I book it again next year

Great stay with the perfect view. Everything was great about this family spring break stay , if I have to give any criticism it would be to get a modern tv with a fire stick or smart tv, and maybe lock away personal clothing/pics, but only to make them not accessible.Definitely this place , and will book again

The overall location of the cottage, in proximity to Yachats and Waldport, was very convenient. Mgmt at Ocean Odyssey was excellent. I loved the photos of Ed & Gloria. I also enjoyed the board games and the collection of books.I grew up in the 60s, so I liked the vibe of the cottage.The main drawback for me was the bed and the pillows. Their useful life ended a very long time ago.The bedding was old and smelled musty. There were a few pretzels, popcorn, and toy pieces under the couch and dining table. I cleaned those up from the carpet. Overall, the cottage was very nice, but it's time to update the bed and bedding.Also, it would be helpful to have a hose attached to the outdoor spigot.

The house has everything you need for the ideal beach vacation. This is truly a 'pet friendly home. The kitchen is well equipped, though we did bring an extra large pot for the crabs we bought up in Newport!We are already planning our return!

This is our 4th or 5th stay. We stay here because it is clean, cozy and our dogs know it as theirs. When we are on the beach and say, “go home” -they know where to go! (There’s a little bit of cobwebs happening this visit- not enough to quibble about.) There weren’t any residents in them! The ease of access to the beach allows my wife the ability to enjoy it. My mother in law loves it too! 2 Adirondack chairs on the lawn for the sunset show is the only thing this place is missing! We will be back again and again!

Great cozy property right on the beach. One block from Highway 101, but you never hear it. Great location for day trips to Yachats, Florence and Newport. Loved this property!

This home has everything completely stocked, plus, all the spices, bandaids, junk drawer with string, birthday candles, tape, matches, night lights and hot water bottle which was used for my granddaughter’s tummy ache! Kites, toys, art supplies, all donated with love by the family that owns the home. The view is right on the ocean, with a great trail to the beach! The home is personal and very warm. This feels like home! We all loved it. The moon comes through the windows at night. Thank-you for sharing your home with us.

Being just steps away from the beach was perfect. Not to mention the views from inside with the huge windows looking out over the waves. It was comfortable and close enough to town amenities via yachats or waldport...but far enough away to feel like I got away from town. I would definitely stay again! again

My daughter and I stayed at Ed and Gloria's for a much needed relaxing trip and to celebrate our birthdays. Communication with property management was exceptional. The house is very clean, and the beach is right outside the back door! Easy access down to beach. Perfect sand and area for walking! The home is truly a home, and a touching family time capsule of another place and time. We will be back! Thank you.
