Charming house and neighborhood. Sushi restaurant and local shops just blocks away. House was a virtual museum of books and music. Loved it.

The property is very welcoming of pets...so much so that there was such an excessive amount of poop in the backyard and we had to literally carry our pups out every day and night as to not track it back into the home. The hosts were great initially, until 2 weeks later I was billed an additional 50 for excessive hair!! I explained to the lady that my two dogs absolutely do not shed, because my daughter is extremely allergic and we'd already had to give up our family cat because of it.All in all we had an amazing stay because of the location. We lived 1 block away for 15 years until we moved away in 2021. The house was cozy, but musty and not very sanitary. I would not stay here again simply because of the experience, not the home. The home was in a great location and if they hired a cleaning company that actually deep cleaned in between stays, it would be a very charming place to visit.I will make sure to tell all of my friends not to stay anywhere Grand Welcome Nashville is hosting on either platform.

Good WiFiLots of pillows in primary bedroomWasher/dryer worked wellWater pressure and quantity of hot water goodGood mattress in primary bedroomConsider bringing an extension cord with you; this is an older home (Zillow says built in 1899) and outlets are scarce

Extremely easy check-in. There was a slight confusion on how to get the door unlocked but that was fixed within minutes of reaching out to the owner. The house was bigger than expected and quite immaculate. Excellent stay.

Property is in a great location. We enjoyed the record player and albums during our stay. We had a problem with one of the showers but the property manager responding quickly when notified and fixed issue. I would stay again in the future.

The house is dark, hot, and stuffy. Generally it's old and has seen better days. The air conditioner was broken for 3 of the 5 days of our stay - in AUGUST in Nashville. There's no ceiling fan in the main bedroom. We worked long days and then came home to a hot house. Communication with the third party management company was time consuming and impersonal. I didn't know if I was talking to a person or a robot. They kept telling me that a maintenance person was coming to the house. One time he arrived at 11pm, and said he would return the next morning at 8am. He didn't show up again until 1pm. It took entirely too much of my time for what was supposed to be an easy and comfortable accommodation. I insisted on a discounted stay and they offered a measly 100 refund for our 1300 stay. VRBO was no help at all. I won't rent again from a third party management company. It's too much trouble.

This home is in a great location. Not a far walk to Nissan Stadium and Broadway. Also, there are some great bars, restaurants, and little shops on a few blocks away. We felt very safe in this neighborhood. The property manager was kind enough to let us stay an extra hour on our last day. I would definitely recommend this home if you are interested in exploring Nashville. If you have the time and means to take an East Nashville food/walking tour, I would. It’s a great way to find a favorite restaurant or two to visit during your stay.

Great neighborhood, quick, friendly, responsive property management, fantastic restaurants and shops within walking distance (east Nash). Quick uber to Broadway, Comfy beds, nice bathrooms, nice kitchen. Only thing that was not up to par was the living room furniture. Its old and not comfortable. With that said, we had a great stay and would recommend.

The Purple House was the perfect location in east Nashville and close to everything. The house is very charming, it has a NOLA vibe. I loved sitting on the porch swing with my coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. My dogs loved it too! So much space, very comfortable and homey.

The Purple House was within walking distance to many cute shops and restaurants. We were visiting during a HOT weekend, and the air went out. The hosts worked right away to try to get the problem solved and were in communication with us while they got the AC unit worked on. The house has an eclectic vibe which gave us lots to look at and talk about inside. We felt safe in the neighborhood.
