Stayed Mar 10, 2025This charming, old home is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet surprisingly close, walking distance, in fact, to downtown and the university. The kitchen and bathrooms have everything you may need. We treated ourselves to an afternoon tea in the dining room, making use of the antique tea set. In my experience, all rentals have a drawback or two. In this case, the worst of it was that we found mouse scat in one of the bathrooms and on the kitchen counter on the 4th morning of our stay. The owner stated she had set traps in the past and offered to come over to clean up and set more traps. As the day went on, we found more scat on the stairs and under the sink. I followed up with the owner after we checked out and I have no doubt she is doing something to remedy this problem.
