Stayed Feb 2, 2026Great house, great location. Friendly contacts. Unfortunately during our stay it was too cold to heat the beautiful pool. Beach is walking distance so no need for bikes. During our stay the aeration pump was broken and ran very loudly 24 hours every day like a generator. Also no hair dryer, no aluminum foil or wrap in the pantry. Fix the aerator and it’s 5 stars.If you stay, there are no-see-em biting flies so buy DEET spray. Nice island for Nature walks and beach strolls!

Reviewer Comments: I was initially a bit hesitant to book since our previous trips to St. George Island had always been beachfront, but this location exceeded our expectations. The beach path was incredibly convenient—even after full days on the sand, no one in our group minded the short walk.The house was perfect for our group, which included two families with kids ranging from 13 to 18. The teens especially loved being right across from the bike path, which gave them easy access to the island center for pickup basketball games and, of course, ice cream stops on the way back.The private pool was a big hit with everyone, and the kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals for a large group. I highly recommend renting through Forgotten Shores—their team was excellent from start to finish!

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this property several times and always have a great time! The house is wonderful and spacious and the pool is an added plus! Forgotten Shores is great to work with and is super responsive when we have questions or issues. We did have an issue with the dishwasher and they sent a maintenance man over and then a repair man. He got it going for one run and then it quit again. This has never happened before with this house or company and I get it, stuff happens. Otherwise, our trip was amazing!

Stayed May 19, 2024We had a fantastic stay at this house. The house was clean and ready for us when we got there. The pool is beautiful and it is a short walk/golfcart ride to the beach. The beds are comfortable and everything in the kitchen worked great! We had an ant issue by the pool and I texted the property manager. I got immediate results! They had pesticide out to spray and put out poison within hours. They even called the next day to follow up that it was satisfactory. I could not recommend this place enough! Julie
