This cabin was perfect for our stay. Dog friendly was a plus. Pet fee was high compared to other cabins. The view was great and seeing the moose was a plus. Great place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! Norma was amazing to work with, so helpful, friendly, and responsive, which made the entire experience seamless. The location could not be better: super close to Cataloochee Ski Area, making ski days incredibly easy.The neighborhood was charming, quiet, and peaceful, and the cabin itself was spotless, beautifully appointed, and so welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home. We loved that it was dog-friendly, and the setting was perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes.This cabin is an ideal choice for anyone wanting a cozy, clean, and convenient place near Cataloochee. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it!

Loved this place! It was clean and the host was perfect! I reached out to her a few times, and I was amazed that she replied so quickly each time!!! Perfect location. Minutes away from Waynesville. Cherokee and Bryson City were not far away at all. Very quiet neighborhood. Had the pleasure of seeing an elk right in the yard (of course we viewed him from a safe distance). We loved sitting on the porch and looking up at the mountains. It was so peaceful. I would definitely stay here again! The host was perfect, as well as the house!

The cabin was adequately equipped. Communicating with owner was easy and any concerns were solved quickly. The poarch was wonderful for elk watching. The cabin wax clean and the fireplace really produced heat. Cozy.

Amazing! The cabin was extremely clean, comfortable for 6 adults and had a beautiful view. Norma was very helpful and quick to respond to my messages. We all loved seeing the elks, ground-hogs, chipmunks, hummingbirds and even one skunk. We truly didn't want to leave. We definitely will come back again.

Cabin was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Location was close to Cherokee, Waynsville and Asheville.There are a lot of new cabins being built so not many open fields and the Elk did not come close to cabin but there was a farm next to neighborhood where they would come every evening to graze and we would drive over there to watch them.Norma was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had about the property or area. Cabin is very spacious and perfect for a family vacation!

Could not have been better. Property was even better than expected. I spent time talking to and getting to know the neighbors, all very nice people. Spectacular views yet close to everything we needed, even saw an elk walking across the street. Communication with the owner was second to none. She replied promptly to every question, supplied area information, no detail left undone.

Every thing was good. Only issue was that you couldn’t set AC below 68 degrees.

We were looking for quiet tranquility with a view. Even though you have neighbors everyone is friendly and respects your privacy. Cabin is very well appointed and exceptionally clean. However the killer is the outside deck. Even when it rains you have plenty of cover to sit it out. We did not try out the fire pit because we were too lazy. Definitely a cabin I would return too many times.

We had the most amazing weekend in this perfect little cabin! It’s so cozy and relaxing! The elk were only a few yards away every morning and evening! They are so beautiful grazing in the fields around the cabin! Great local restaurants and real close to Cherokee! Can’t wait to go again!!

We came during an arctic blast….lows in the single digits. This cabin was the absolute perfect place to settle in and take in the mountains feels. The fire pit was so relaxing while watching the elk play and eat around us.

From the moment my family arrived, we were impressed by the Like-New condition of this cabin. It appears as all upgradeable options were selected in the construction process, and it has been professional maintained. We would most certainly stay here again if we find ourselves returning to Maggie Valley.

My husband and I decided to stay a few days in Maggie Valley. The location of this home is perfect. It’s easy to find and convenient to everything we wanted to do. The home was spotless and comfortable. We saw elk each day and that was definitely one of the reasons we chose this home. We would definitely stay again.

We have stayed in several homes in this neighborhood. I think this was our favorite. It’s beautiful and the location is perfect. We saw lots of elk as an added bonus!

I have nothing but beautiful things to say about this property. It really was the most perfect vacation. It snowed during our stay. It was our first time experiencing it and it was just magical. The kids loved it. The dogs had so much fun also! We all enjoyed and also thanks to the owner for being so kind and responsive to everything! You made it so easy for us from check in to check out! We will be back!!

The place was beautiful and very clean. We did have a little trouble with the fireplace. Our only complaint would be the lack of privacy, regarding the close proximity of other homes.

This was my 3rd time staying at the cabin. A friend of mine from middle and high school days joined me this time. We relaxed, caught up and lost our voices from talking too much. Always a pleasure to stay here, beautiful views, easy access and a quiet neighborhood. I hope to return again.

The house was beautiful and location great. The neighborhood is growing but this house was on end of street with no houses behind it. Picked this place primarily to see elk and we weren’t disappointed. Saw elk every day (5 day stay). Norma was quick to respond to our questions. Disappointed that we weren’t able to use the fireplace (pilot light out) but really wasn’t cold. Great stay.

We really enjoyed our time at Norma’s property! Everything was clean and the location was excellent for viewing elk in the nearby field! We will definitely be booking this house again!

Short drive to hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway and head out to explore the area. Elk in the neighborhood almost every evening. Property was clean and comfortable.

Our stay was excellent! The accommodations we great the location was quiet and convenient to all the amenities of the Maggie Valley. We saw elk up close 3 different days. They actually walked right past the front porch one morning. It was a great stay and we looking forward to a return trip. Chuck

We spent a fabulous 10 days in Maggie! It was absolutely gorgeous! Maggie will be our forever home soon!

Enjoyed the easy access to the main road in Maggie Valley. It was amazing to see the elk just wandering through the neighborhood. Home was exactly as described and pictured. Communication with the owner was very timely and detailed.
