Stayed Dec 22, 2025Great location, clean and comfortable home with more than ample living spaces for our family of 7. Kitchen is well equipped with dishes, glassware, cookware (but could really use a large skillet) and spices. Jacuzzi tub outside was very nice and very big. The property instructions are everywhere - almost everything has labels, rules and instructions and while that was nice it was also borderline too much. Mattresses very comfortable however master bedroom pillows were not comfortable so I would recommend bringing your own pillow like we did which was easy.

Stayed Aug 7, 2025Second time to stay here; remodel to kitchen and added bath are good additions. Blueberry Hill traffic has greatly increased and car noise is becoming an issue. Check in was seamless.

Stayed Mar 22, 2025Eastern Star Resort is fabulous. It was extremely clean, comfortable beds and very well stocked. We loved our stay here and if we ever come back to Taos we would definitely stay again. The owners are responsive and gave suggestions on things to do. The location is perfect- far enough from Taos to see the night sky but close enough to be convenient.

Stayed Jan 22, 2025What an amazing home! Everything was in excellent condition and as described. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location, just outside of Taos, is incredibly convenient, quiet, and spectacular (even by Taos standards). Be prepared to take many photos every day of the scenery! We had an absolutely wonderful family vacation, with skiing, hiking, museums, and restaurants just a short drive away. A truly exceptional home and stay!

Stayed Nov 6, 2024This is an overall comfortable house to relax and enjoy the beauty of Taos and the natural surroundings. The beds are comfy and the well organized kitchen has just about everything you need for cooking any meal. Communicatios with the house manager are helpful and immediate. There were 4 of us and everyone felt at home at the Eastern Star Retreat

Stayed Jun 26, 2024Our stay at the Eastern Star Retreat was a wonderful experience. Everything was exactly as pictured in the listing. House is on a secluded lot about a 10 minute drive from the center of Taos. Host was very quick to reply to messages. Highly recommend!
