Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is in a great location, with comfortable beds. However the centrally located air conditioner doesn't reach the bedrooms, and there aren't curtains on all bedrooms, making sleeping uncomfortable. The verandah is well screened, but the lounges and chairs are dilapidated and uncomfortable. The downstairs retreat is great. The washing machine didn't work.

The driveway was considerably steeper though than what we were expecting which would be a real issue for anybody with mobility issues. There was no option for stairs which was especially difficult when we had a lot of rain and the driveway got a bit slippery. We also weren’t expecting the downstairs bedroom to only have access from outside the house although this wasn’t a huge issue for us because we only had 6 adults staying at the property. The sunroom was probably our favourite room in the house and was lovely and spacious. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and had so much more in it than we expected, right down to oil and spices in the pantry. There was also heaps of outdoor hanging space for washing so we didn’t even need to use the clothes dryer. On the whole the house was very clean with the exception of the tub in the laundry which also served as the downstairs bathroom basin. The ceiling fan in the downstairs bedroom was also very dirty so we didn’t use it even though the weather was hot and humid. The house was definitely good value for money though because it was much cheaper than all of the other houses we considered, particularly being a 4 bedroom house. It was older property but had been modernised in some aspects and had some lovely furnishings and artworks.

We highly enjoyed our stay at Bally High. Close to everything and amazing views and space in the house. The separate room with 2 beds has no access from the rest of the house which we were not aware of but it was ok since my mother in law used that space.

Great house for a family holiday. Incredible views across the town, the beach, the ocean and the surrounding hills. Suggest the owners invest in air-conditioning as it can get oppressively hot if the ocean breeze doesn't blow.

We spent 2 weeks at Bally High with friends and family. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the stunning view. Although a little old, the house was comfortable where you couldn’t help but relax.
