Stayed Sep 6, 2025Clean, cozy home. Good location. Large back yard with deck. Cozy seating area in the front. It met all of our needs. The host, Tim was responsive and friendly. The only very slight problem is that the cookware is old and worn.I grew up in the UP and we come to visit with family yearly. We will seek this home out again. We appreciate that it is affordable.

Stayed Sep 5, 2024The house was spotless and communication/check-in was easy and seamless. The layout of the house and outside deck was perfect for a small family gathering. The location though was the best feature. It is in a quiet neighborhood just blocks from the beach and in centrally located between downtown, NMU, and the 3rd street entertainment options.

Stayed Oct 21, 2023Very roomy and practical in a quiet neighborhood. Good for a family of all ages or a couple getting away. A great location with close access to 3rd street, Washington street, the lakeshore and beyond.

Stayed Oct 7, 2023This is a beautiful home in a perfect location! It's very close to the lake (and also to the Third Street corridor and downtown). The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. My husband and I have stayed at the home MANY times, and it's always our first choice in Marquette. The hosts are very gracious, and despite our many stays, we've never had any issues. The owners maintain the home in pristine condition. The furnishings are lovely, the beds are comfortable, and the decor (including the work of many local artists) pays homage to the U.P. and Lake Superior. We are very grateful to the hosts for their continued hospitality.

Stayed Oct 4, 2023My old college roommate and I had a terrific stay. Loved the house and how well it is cared for and outfitted. For our visiting purposes, the location is ideal. Next time I visit Marquette, probably in a year, I know where I'm going to stay
