Stayed Oct 31, 2025We enjoyed ourselves. A bunch of ladies in our 70 and 80’s. Maybe too many stairs for us but we managed. We loved the game board in the coffee table A few unwelcome bugs. Most were dead but a few were alive in the kitchen. We would do it again. We enjoyed our all being together. We even rented a pontoon boat.

Stayed Aug 6, 2025The best parts of the house were the games and fun decorations (although the awesome lighting needs some of the bulbs replaced)The worst parts feel symptomatic of the house being managed by a company rather than a home owner who hasn't visited- Inflexible check in, even by 1 hour with robotic response- Inaccurate house access provided even after amending instructions - Unanticipated lack of cleanliness despite needing till 4 pm to prepare the house - Dead cockroach right in middle of hallway- Empty soap dispensers and soap dispensers filled with water- Ill fitting sheets. Sheets felt cheap and the master bed had sand in the sheets- Fire hazards - extension plugs plugged into extension cords plugged into extension cords

Stayed Jul 14, 2025Dunnellon Dreams, what a FANTASTIC place to stay on a week vacation! My wife and 2 teenage kids LOVED the house, the pool table in the basement was awesome. They played constantly for hours downstairs, the gaming table was super cool. We all played digital Monopoly for hours, the Game of Life, SORRY! so cool to spend that quality family time. My brother met us there later on with his wife and son, we made several fires in the firepit out back, and enjoyed every square inch of our stay. Peaceful and enjoyable, exactly what we were looking for!The purpose of visiting Dunnellon was to see the Rainbow Springs, and it did not disappoint. What a beautiful location! The river was so refreshing, we spent several days in it going up and down for hours. The watering hole was magnificent! We can't wait to visit again - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Stayed Jul 10, 2025Had an amazing time. Place was awesome. Had snacks waiting for us on check in, the beds were comfortable and was in a great location for Dunellon. Only gripes, the description says with Pool, I was excited for the Pool. It should say Pool-Table. The code to the door was odd, two main doors and only one had the code. One had to know how to input the code so luckily we had someone in the group that had used those door codes before. Would recommend a little more directions for the door code. Minor inconveniences for an altogether amazing stay. We will have to stay here again on the next visit.

Stayed Jun 10, 2025The only nice things about the house were the size, and the fun indoor game tables. The kids of all ages really enjoyed these. However, upon arrival we discovered that the property was not located on the river as advertised. Afte contacting the VRBO host through the messenger, we were told that it is just down the path. We followed a path behind the house, but it never led to the river. After contacting the VRBO host again, we kept being reassured it was easily accessible. This is when I realized we were taling to an AI bot and not a real person. We finally found a river access point across the street 2 houses down in a vacant lot, but it is a 2 feet drop down to the water with no beach or access point for kayaking or tubing. The Red Awning bot was NOT helpful, also our confirmation email and booking instructions did not have a contact number for a real person to help. When calling Red Awning I never spoke to a real person, but only received texts with a representative, and still not an actual person that lives in the vacation area.

Stayed May 16, 2025We had a wonderful time at Dunnellen Dreams. There was enough space for people to spread out and do different activities. It was close to a couple of places to float the Rainbow River. The kitchen was well stocked with space to stash away our groceries.

Stayed Mar 23, 2025Was great communication. House was extremely clean. On a very quiet street. Kitchen is well equipped. Shuffleboard was great! Only complaint was the twin beds are hard as can be. There were two adults sleeping on them and we were up and down all night. The other rooms beds were great.

Stayed Feb 24, 2025The house was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and clean. It was huge with plenty of room for our group. And we loved the pool table and shuffleboard - it added an nice element of fun. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked.
