Duluth/Superior Marina View Home

We had lots of room to spread out. The living room had a charming view of the marina. It was easy to go between Superior and Duluth for great restaurants and attractions. There is a nice back deck where you could enjoy breakfast or dinner outside and visit.

The home was very clean, spacious, and convenient to Duluth, just a little too close to the busy road in front of the property. We saw the marina, but to get to it, it was necessary to drive about 1/2 mile to cross over to the other side of Highway 2. Although the owner cannot do anything about it, it would have been nice to know that the property was not on the marina side of the road.

Spacious, very clean, thought of almost everything you’d need for a great stay.

It was a great location. We walked to Barker Island beach and a park was near by. The house was well stocked and clean.

This place felt like home from the moment we walked in. Cozy, very clean & it had all the comforts of home! Well stocked kitchen, that had everything you need. Beds were super comfortable & the throws in the family room were a nice touch. My daughter LOVED the upstairs toilet seat! I can’t say thank you enough for getting this property ready for us! Hoping to definitely book again! Thank you again!!!

We had grandma and grandpa, grown son, grown daughter and her husband and son for a total of 6. The kitchen is very well equipped for the cooking that we did to serve our crowd. In the course of five days, we had hot weather and cold weather and foggy weather. The air conditioning and the fireplaces were all tested. There's lots to do in Superior/Duluth and we had a great time seeing the sights, sailing (on our own boat located in a nearby marina) and fishing (the grandson is becoming a fishing nut). This house is large enough to accommodate us all easily. The video gamers among us were well served too with their downstairs space with a big screen and easy connection.

Our family had a wedding in Pattison State Park. Great location, clean, easy to get to - had all the essentials. We had a wonderful time.

We had a group of 8 people, some family and some friends. The split level gave us all our own space to sleep comfortably and to have downtime before bed and while we were getting ready for our day. The kitchen was fully equipped to prepare food. Everything was so sparkly clean and organized, I immediately felt comfortable. The small touches and attention to detail made it feel great from the very start... I didn't hear one complaint from any of 8 adults during the 4 days we stayed! I hope to stay at this home next year when we are in town for the same event!

My friends and I had a great time at this Vrbo! The host was super easy to chat with and the house was a great size for all 8 of us with extra space. The location was great to go exploring. Overall had a great experience!!

Party of 5 adults visiting our kids at UMD parent's weekend. Great location close to cute downtown Superior and right across from the marina. Nice views in the morning and evening. Lots of space. Beds were super comfortable. Loved the upstairs toilet! (You'll agree when you see it) The owners left complimentary breakfast items (including milk) and snacks...so thoughtful! Yes, the one king bedroom has some road noise, however, we turned the fan on high the 2nd night and it drowned out most of it. The was the only issue we had...and it really wasn't a huge issue. Overall, perfect place for a quick weekend with friends!

The hosts were very accommodating, especially when we needed an extra key and had a couple questions. We had also received a very pleasant greeting from the host prior to our stay which was very nice. I would stay here again and recommend it as it’s located in a nice area and not far from Duluth.

This was a nice comfortable property for hanging out after a long bike ride from the cities. It was fully equipped which was convenient for our group. The only downside was the busy road right in front of the house.

We were greeted by such a sweet little surprise on the table and were so comfortable the entirety of our stay! My bridal party stayed with me and it the location made getting to our venue and wedding events so easy and convenient, I'd recommend to anyone with a good sized group for their vacation!

First the good stuff. The place was clean. This is a serious consideration with us so it is tops on the list. It's also spacious. We had four adults and two teens and had plenty of room to spread out. The appliances were good. It included two refrigerators and a double oven which came in handy. Now the other side. It's and older house and shows it. Plenty of dings and nicks on doors and woodwork. Also, no ventilation in either bathroom. They made a valiant attempt at odor control but moisture and noise are still a problem. All this we could easily live with. The real, REAL problem for us was road noise. Two of the bedrooms face a very busy highway between Superior and Duluth. Other reviews mentioned this, but didn't mention the magnitude. After the first night we were considering moving to a hotel because of lack of sleep. We finally lessened the din by leaving the AC in the bedrooms on all night (that noise was constant, not a frequent but intermittent roar) and wore ear plugs all night. If you are as sensitive to noise as we are, think twice about this place. It's clear the owners are thoughtful people. There were lots of nice furnishings around. That included coffee, snacks,nice shampoo and body wash, cereal and fresh milk. It's too bad they can't stop the road noise.

The home was well appointed with tons of room for spreading out. The house is located with spectacular views and the sunrise is beautiful. The beds were all super comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Would stay here again and again.

It really was a nice setup for our family, but the biggest issue for us was that we were on busy Highway 2. I guess I missed that information when making our reservation. We kept the front door locked even when we were home. Enjoyed playing in the backyard with our 3 small grandchildren, 5 1/2, 4 and 2 1/2. Your neighbor came over to the fence one night and said how nice it was to see a family enjoying time together and gave us a container of blueberries! Upon entering the house through the front door, we did smell a very strong musty smell. Our daughter is allergic to mold, mildew, so she did have some breathing issues. The house was well stocked with everything we needed.Plenty of towels and it was nice with 3 young children with staying almost a week, to be able to wash clothes. All in all was a good stay.

The size of the house more than met our needs. The place was clean. They only draw back was street noise and because of the rain the sum pump was a bit noisy
