Stayed Nov 3, 2023I booked this for myself and my family. The door code to check-in was communicated clearly to us, however that is where things fell apart after that. We arrived late at night to find the unit unclean and disgusting. I documented these and submitted pictures to both the property owners and VRBO. It was so bad that we went and booked a hotel instead for our stay. The following things were found that did not match the listing. -Grime, spit and water spots all over bathroom mirrors -Hair in tubs drains -Mildew and mold on bathroom counters -Black mold ring in all toilets as if the haven’t been flushed in 1-2 months -Dead cockroach in 1 tub -Black mold/mildew on shower curtains -No clean towels -All 3 beds appeared slept in with different bedding and bed frames that doesn’t match the listing. -Dirty kitchen gloves, sponges and steel wool left in kitchen sink -Dirty kitchen towels and pot left on counter -Things just left lying around the house (scissors, plastic knife, etc.) -Dirty floors -Empty kitchen soap bottles -Numerous stains on carpets Overall, this place looked like someone lived there and not clean at all. I communicated this within the VRBO app to the property owner and they cited a “software bug” that caused it not to be cleaned and they attempted to text and call me on my cell instead of communicating with the VRBO app. The property owner supposedly refunded some money, however only about 70%. If you stay here, confirm that it is cleaned.

Stayed Aug 1, 2023We were basically here to sleep and shower. We spent the week helping our kids move in to their place who will be attending Duke. The home is comfortable for a older home. I do agree with previous guest if they would just clean a little better by the front doors it would be a plus. Also the trash cans need attention outside the home they are overflowing. We. would stay here again.

Stayed Jul 29, 2023First of all I got there I had to take time out and sweep around all the doors, because of spider webs I accidentally knock off cameras so they call for them to come had no problem them coming out,They let me know right away they were coming I said okay. It says on the flyer that we can have weddings and birthday parties and check out was at 11:00 a.m. Lady was sitting in the driveway at 10:37am waiting for us to vacate. That was very uncomfortable,feeling rushed. They let us know that we could not have no more than 12 people there so we didn't have no more than eight..Not a private spot.neighbors all-around

Stayed Jul 13, 2023I had a business trip to Chapel Hill for business but also took advantage of being my son to look at the colleges! It was a house close to the colleges, close to Raleigh and easy to find! Great find and will use it again on my next business trip.

Stayed May 12, 2023Cute place, everything you need. Can tell it was flipped quickly and cheaply (cabinets not level, odd fluorescent fixtures powered by extension cords running across beams), but it was comfortable for a family of 4. Quiet, except for periodic very loud trains. Inside was well-cleaned; outside porch/doorway areas covered in cobwebs and leaves. Porch chairs could use new cushions. Nice yard. Small fenced in area would be good for guests with dogs.

Stayed Apr 6, 2023We thought the spaces were well represented, but were disappointed to find stains on the carpets. We found tiny ants in the kitchen on the second day, although we never left food out or a dirty counter. They stayed around all weekend. The beds were comfortable, but we were also surprised to find NO hangers anywhere in closets. We were here for a wedding and needed to go but hangers. We also would've appreciated an iron. I hoped for a better coffee experience, French press or Keurig, but sadly found a Mr. Coffee , but nice to have filters and a little coffee to use. If you changed a few things, you may do very well.
