Very well appointed. Everything needed in the kitchen (all rooms) was ther.The view and the birds and outdoors were particularly beautiful. Didnt want to leave.

We had a fantastic time staying at this Driftwood! The large outdoor area was perfect for the kids to run around and play. Every bedroom had its own toilet and shower, which made it so comfortable for everyone. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything we needed, and the sunsets were absolutely beautiful. Communication with the owner was fantastic, making the whole experience easy and stress-free. We would definitely recommend this place to others and can’t wait to come back!

Driftwood is exceptional. Ocean views, miles of room, great kitchen, excellent laundry, multiple entertainment areas, inside and out, great beds, the bathrooms are spacious and well appointed - and those fantastic showers!! I've enjoyed plenty of Stayz stays - this is the best.

The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated in a relaxed coastal style. Very quiet residential location with a nice walk down to the jetty cafe and lunch at Julios near by, so we avoided the busier parts of Port Stephens.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Driftwood Cottage has a beautiful outlook to the west from the house and large verandah with a huge reserve down to the water's edge. We were a party of 11 family members aged from 1.5 years to 71 years and the cottage easily catered for us all. Gorgeous sunsets, an easy walk through the reserve or along the foreshore to the park, beach and play equipment. It was an easy drive to visit other beautiful beaches at Shoal Bay and Fingal Bay. The owners very kindly provided a large number of items in the starter pack and also a gorgeous welcoming hamper of wine and treats which were delicious. Mostly we cooked our dinners, however, the last night we dined at The Deck Cafe at Soldiers Point where there was a sunset view and delicious dinners. On our second last night we watched a koala cuddled into a gum with its eyes closed which was an incredible treat for us all. We enjoyed a perfect week and will definitely return - perhaps 10 days next time! We would happily recommend Driftwood Cottage to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday whilst being close to all the attractions of Port Stephens including many lovely stores in Nelson Bay. Cheers!!
