Dragonfly Cottage on Rainbow River

A lovely welcoming home perfect in every way. The hosts had provided everything imaginable to ensure a magical stay. We were wanting total relaxation and that’s what we loved about Dragonfly Cottage. Will plan to go again!

Absolutely perfect! This home and its property are a slice of heaven. It has everything you could possibly want or need to have an amazing time on Rainbow River. The views from the house are serene and relaxing. The comfortable seating everywhere made it more than easy to forget about the world outside. We never looked for something we needed and couldn’t find it here. We had so much fun fishing, paddle boarding, swimming, sitting by the camp fire and cooking up delicious meals. The bedrooms were very comfy cozy and the entire home is decorated so beautifully. The Lamperts thought of everything and we are so grateful they did. We are already planning a trip back in September. Do not miss out on this extraordinary piece of property on the river. Hopefully your family will have as much fun as we did!

We had an amazing time at the Dragonfly Cottage at Rainbow River this weekend! Beautiful quiet location on the river with everything you need for a fun or relaxing stay. Kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need to prepare a nice meal. The house was very clean. Beds were very comfortable and had nice linens. The outdoor area is perfect to enjoy the best of Florida nature. The owner was available for any questions and accommodating. I definitely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Dragonfly Cottage exceeded my family's expectations! The access to kayaks, paddle boards, and other river toys gave my children plenty of activities to do. I was worried we would not see any otters, but they finally made an appearance on the last afternoon of our stay. I would definitely recommend this place and I plan to come back again.

This home is beautiful and well maintained. It has a small dock for launching your kayaks and or paddle boards. The property also has a fire pit area with chairs and a large back porch for relaxing. Our family loved the location right on Rainbow River. The rental included kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets and mask/snorkels. It’s an easy paddle up the river to Rainbow Springs State Park. Would definitely stay again.

Dragonfly Cottage is very nice and new. Everything was clean and well stocked. Everything you would need is provided. We had a great family trip to Rainbow River.

My family and I have been coming to Rainbow Springs since I was a kid and I am now able to share it with my children. The Dragonfly is a beautiful spot on the Rainbow. Between the beautiful home and the magical cypress trees it’s all you could ever want in a spot on the river. Every bedroom was so beautifully done and the kitchen was one of our favorite spots to hang out in. We ate almost every meal on the gorgeous porch on the back of the house. The owner Rose was so wonderful to work with. She answered questions and made my family and I feel so welcomed. We can’t wait to come and visit again soon.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate a special occasion and could not have had a better base of operations. The space was perfect for our large group and the kayaks and paddleboards made exploring the Springs easy.

I highly recommend this house right on the river. It was perfect our home away from hime. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen for prepping meals. Water toys. 2 minutes to supermarket

We stayed for Easter weekend and we fell in love with this home. Such a beautiful lot on the river set back off the road with tall pine trees and beautiful cypress trees by the dock. The hosts were so nice and responsive. We will definitely be back for another stay! Our new favorite in the Rainbow River.

Our stay at the Dragonfly Cottage, directly on the Rainbow River, exceeded our expectations. The house and property are beautiful and immaculate and the location couldn’t be better! We enjoyed using the kayaks, paddle boards, and fire pit. We hope to return soon!

We have been coming to Rainbow river for 11 years, hands down the best place we ever rented. All the necessary information was provided prior our arrival & answered any questions before we got there.The houses is clean & has everything what you need to enjoy your stay in paradise.

We had a great time staying at Dragonfly cottage which is directly on the beautiful Rainbow River. The house and property were perfect for our family getaway. The house was comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything and more you could possibly need for a vacation. You really just need to bring food and clothes and be ready to relax on the river. Some of the highlights were paddling up to the head springs. (They provide kayaks and very sturdy paddleboards.) We fished off the dock, made a fire, cooked amazing dinners and enjoyed watching the many animals from the back porch and dock. It was a 10 out of 10 experience at Dragonfly Cottage. Thank you to Rose and Harold for being amazing host. We can’t wait to come back!

Pristine house, all the thoughtful amenities you can imagine, a responsive and considerate host, and an incredible location combined to make our stay unforgettable.
