The Neighborhood
This home is located in Salt Lake City's Marmalade District on the west side of Capitol Hill. An extremely walkable neighborhood, the Marmalade District was named so because early street names reflected the fruit-bearing plants and trees imported and planted there by its early residents. Settled in the early days of Salt Lake City, the Marmalade District is distinguished from other neighborhoods by mature landscaping and a surprising variety of vintage residential buildings. Within a single one-block area are almost as many styles of architecture as exist in the entire Avenues Historic District.
Getting Around
Ideally located just a 15 minute walk from downtown Salt Lake City. The local UTA Trax station is just a few blocks away.

Close to many of the SLC atrractions. Wonderful kitchen to prep meals. Beds were comfy.
The property was clean and beautiful. It was amazing how close it was to everything and yet very quiet. We would definitely stay there again.
Easy to find. Lots of parking in the back of the house. House was well perpared to host a large group. It was close to the Huntsman Cancer Institute which was the reason for our family's stay. Thank you for opening your home to us we really appreciate it.
We enjoyed our stay in this home. It was very close to all of the activities in downtown Salt Lake that we anted to do.
It’s close to a lot of nice places , nice neighborhood, easy access to freeway Bedding is comfortable and clean so you can get your rest.
We came for a concert for my sisters a birthday. Unfortunately our concert got cancelled but this home gave us a gathering place and opportunity to spend time together. The home is charming and huge!! There were 11 adults and we all had ample space to relax and sleep. The beds are comfortable, space is clean. There is a large deck at the back of the house that was great! Would definitely stay here again.
We arrived later in the evening when we checked in. Smooth process. Online the pictures don’t do justice. This house is marvelous! Built in the 1900’s~ lots of energy & rich history. This mansion must have been so fun to live in with a family of 6 or more. Our group enjoyed the neighborhood, close walking to some local coffee shops& small bites to eat. Some parts of the house need some extra TLC. The deck outside was a nice touch. Wouldn’t hurt if it got a fresh stain. Overall we loved this house, plenty of space and room for large groups.
We used the house for a Board retreat, and this house offered plenty of beds along with enough rooms to give people privacy when needed. House was as described and owners were responsive when queried.
Lovely house, very clean. Beds were comfortable. Nice kitchen, lots of room. We really enjoyed our stay. My only complaint was lack of communication. I sent messages that weren't answered and called once and received no call back. Everything turned out ok but communication is key to a great stay.
Spacious, beautiful kitchen and so convenient for getting around .It was so convenient we could leave our cars parked in the yard.
We loved our weekend with our 3 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, and 2 granddaughters! Many meals around the large dining table, movies in the living room, and hanging out in the kitchen! Loved the personality of each bedroom and could have spent hours imagining the family that built and lived in the home. We will return. Location is perfect for being close to downtown without being right in the middle of downtown.
Really clean, adorable inside, home. This may have been the most well-equipped home we’ve stayed in. It had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable and homey. We would definitely stay again!
We had a great time and loved the location as we walked into the city each day. The house was clean and cozy. We all agreed that we would totally book again the next time we come into town.
Love the Victorian charm ! Great location and slept us all very comfortably
Very cute property, conveniently located near downtown SLC. We came for the Pioneer day Parade, and it was close by. Nice decorated, comfortable!
I loved the location, appearance and size of this listing. We were a group of 14. The only problem was that the house only has 1 AC unit and it cannot keep up with such a large home during hottest times of the year. The upstairs temp ran about 82 when the thermostat was set to 70 and it eventually stopped working all together. The property managers did their best to keep us comfortable by bringing over 3 window AC units that we used downstairs during the day and upstairs at night. They also were willing to pay for an AC repairman to come out on the 4th of July weekend but he was unable to get the needed part. I think using the window AC units upstairs in addition to the regular AC unit, the house would be cool enough.
