Downtown Mountain Views Guesthouse

Great little place! Close enough to downtown but far enough to be quiet and peaceful.

Our space was exactly as presented. It was immaculately cleaned and fully stocked for our use. Our host was very communicative so that we were assured a relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

The property was just right for my needs. Clean and well maintained, and Erik was very responsive. Everything I could have needed for the week was provided, and the cookies were a sweet touch. The location is close to Old Town and plenty of dining options. If you're driving anything larger than a mid size sedan, I'd recommend parking out front instead of in the assigned spot.

Communication with the host was fantastic until I arrived. The evening that I arrived there was a very strong poison smell in the apartment. I kept trying to message the host and I wasn’t getting any response. After sleeping with shirts over our face the next morning I continue to try to contact the host to no avail. I contacted Vrbo, which was even worse. I kept getting put into some kind of phone hell and having to explain to new people what happened. They could also not contact the host for at least half a day. That is when I discovered ants all over the stairs. When we arrived, it was dark so I did not notice the insects, but this is definitely the origin of someone spraying poison in this apartment. I had to leave for meetings and was out of cellular range until the afternoon. There’s no way I could return to stay. I notified VRBO that I would not be returning to the apartment and I could not stay in an apartment that had poison sprayed in it.. I told them I could not return to the apartment. I had to rebook at a local hotel since we were in the middle of our trip. Vrbo did not help at all do not believe any of the advertising that they help because all they told me was that it was up to the host whether or not I even got refunded. I did receive a partial refund but that was after constantly messaging and communicating for the entire rest of my trip. Extremely disappointing. Book with caution.

The hot tub was not functional. Placed a call to Erik and he was not helpful. The apartment has several things that are not well maintained. I would not recommend this place nor any place owned by Erik

The property is very close to Old Town and grocery shopping.

Comfy! Super convenient

Literally the only one negative thing was someone playing basketball at 7am...but cheers to the guy for the live of the game!! Can't be mad. Loved this place and will stay at Erik's again. His communication skills should be taught in junior high!

Nice relaxing clean great view from the hot tub

This place was roomy enough for a small family, it was located near downtown area for quick access to everything from food to fun, and a terrific place to relax in a quiet place. Overall it was a great fit.

It was a good place to stay and very convenient. It could use a new bed and the dryer doesn't work very well. The vrbo app wouldn't open any messages in my inbox. That is a tech issue though. Overall it was a good stay.

The place was just as described. The sunset in the roof top hot tub was spectacular. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful weekend getaway

It was a great place to stay for our needs in Fort Collins. Had everything we needed for 4 days stay.

Beautiful loft in a great location! Would stay again! We felt comfortable and safe. I would only say that it would've been nice to know of the hot tub hours beforehand and we couldn't find lights on the roof and forgot our phone lights so that was uncomfortable. Otherwise a great experience!

The unit is very comfortable and well equipped for short stays. The bed was firm and comfortable. We did not use the hot tub unfortunately during this visit as the temperatures were close to zero, but the rooftop looked inviting. The parking spot is narrow, but we were able to park our Honda Passport and have the driver squeeze out. Appreciated having coffee, filters and laundry detergent available. The combo washer dryer washes well, but the dryer leaves clothing slightly damp. (Everything easily finishes drying overnight.)The property manager was very responsive and dropped off hangers for us as there were no shelves or dressers to otherwise unpack. We would stay here again!
