Very clean and neat, the house is the same as shown on here. I met the host and he is super nice, also the garden is gorgeous. Honestly it’s worth the price if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Sidney, it’s also near a lot of fun stuff to do

A lovely 2 bedroom at the ground level of a house surrounded by a beautiful garden. Next to a park. Updated and clean; the kitchen stocked up with all you may need. Loved the big screen TV and access to a patio area. Jeff, the host, was friendly and checked if we needed anything. A comfy queen sized bed, and a full size in the smaller bedroom. A pullout in the living room can sleep two. Overall, we were very satisfied, a thumbs up!

Only 8 minutes from downtown Victoria

Jeffrey is a good host of a very nice property. The area around Sidney is very pretty and is a good place to explore.

Right next door to Dominion Brook Park, a wonderful place to relax. The unit looks out to a pond and fountain and trees and garden. Well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Friendly host.

Lovely surrounding area. Close to everything we needed. Host was very kind and on site if needed. Comfort of beds could be better. Everyone’s taste is different though so maybe ok for others. Extra blankets would be nice. The one they had smelled so bad I had to wash it. Could also be cleaner in general. The refrigerator had remnants of previous guests. Well stocked with supplies. We used the laundry and new gloves and sponge for dishes. Nice touch. I didn’t realize he charged per guest. We had another person come along after I booked the property and then was charged an additional fee after we left. There are pros and cons to every property. I still think this may be the right fit for most and would recommend.

Jeff is a great host! His property is absolutely clean with a beautiful location and a lush green backyard. Although it is a basement unit, it doesn’t feel like a basement at all. It has all the amenities, latest appliances including washer/dryer, dishwasher, cutlery, coffee maker, ironing board. This 2 room set felt like home during our 3 night stay. Conveniently located, this place is close to Sydney Beach. Victoria downtown is a 20-30 min drive. Will visit again!

The property is very clean and the view is amazing. The property is very close to the airport and the ferry, and it is under 30 minutes drive. The hosts are very friendly. HOWEVER, it is a BASEMENT SUIT that is NOT SOUND PROOF and there is a lot of noise transfer from upstairs. We could not sleep. The hosts live upstairs, and they wake up before 6:00 am in the morning and go to bed very late. The host apologized about our complaint and disappointment, but, that does not make up for the lack of sleep in our trip

Wife thought the inside of the microwave had mold.The unit has no sound proofing from the hosts room on the same floor and no sound proofing from the upstairs. Every step , every host conversation can be heard. The above negatives really takes away from the very positive unit set up. If it was not for lack of sound proofing we would have considered booking again for next year.

Quiet, well appointed suite. Clean. Comfortable beds afford a good night’s rest. Host welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend. If available on my next visit to the island I’ll be checking out availability on this one.

The suite was clean, if a little musty when we arrived. The proximity to Dominion Brook Park was a big plus, and the yard was nice.

Beautiful property! Suite is fully equipped with everything you need. Great location, close enough to the highway for easy access up and down the peninsula, but still quiet, right next to a park. Would stay again!

Location was perfect!! Clean and very cozy with a lovely patio and yard. Jeff and Anna are superb hosts!

We needed a comfortable stay with kitchen and separate bedrooms, hotels were booked so we have looked at private accommodation and what a pleasant surprise!We couldn’t have asked for better place to stay. Clean, spacious, fully equipped. Hosts very accommodating and responsive. If we return to Victoria - this place will definitely be on our radar! Close to the airport too.

Very nice accommodations. Beautiful yard and area and Jeff was a very inviting and gracious host. What a great way to spend some in Victoria as we prepared and then celebrated my son's wedding. All good!

We absolutely loved our stay at the home of Jeff and Anna. Jeff met us with open arms as we drove onto his beautifully manicured property. After welcoming us, he directed us to the newly outfitted walk-out basement apartment which was light filled and cozy. Two bedrooms plus couch in the living room that can be converted into a bed. The kitchen was clean and fully equipped; washer and drier included. What a nice kitchen it had! The beds were very comfortable and the sheets so soft. The bathroom was in excellent condition. Excellent walking paths right next door. Located on a quiet street between Schwartz Bay ( north) and Victoria to the south. We enjoyed. B the nearby Roost Cafe which served a healthy breakfast and lunch. We can totally recommend Jeff and Anna’s place as a great place to stay when you’re on Vancouver Island. Phoebe Smith

This beautifully laid out, comfortable apartment is the most well-equipped I have ever experienced. We started and ended our days enjoying the beautiful view of the grounds and the pond—it was so lovely, we never found time to watch movies on the large yet unobtrusive TV. Cooking homemade meals in the fully-equipped kitchen was easy and fun. Great location, great owners AAA+++
