The Space:
Welcome to Old Mill Dome, a unique Island Park event and reunion venue. Old Mill
Dome is just shy of 10,000 square feet which means there is plenty of room to gather with
extended family, retreat with a large group or friends, or host a beautiful mountain wedding.
The Dome sleeps 40 in 10 private king bedrooms and two separate bunk rooms in the loft, each
with 5 cozy twin bunk beds. With 4 full bathrooms, there is no need to fight for space to get
ready for an adventurous day in Island Park. The Dome also provides ample opportunity for
entertainment! With a large theatre room that seats 17 in comfortable theatre styled seats,
you can cozy in with some popcorn in the evenings and watch a movie on your very own big
screen. Challenge friends to a game of pool or ping pong stationed in the loft or get outside and
play a game of volleyball or a game of horseshoe in the horseshoe pit. Enjoy the Dome’s very
own custom zip line that flies across a large section of the loft. With a group this big, a large
kitchen and dining area is very important. Old Mill Dome has got you covered! The Dome has a
large fully stocked kitchen with two ovens, two refrigerators, and two microwaves as well as
enough dinner ware for the entire group. Setting up for dinner time is simple with easy stowed
away tables and chairs on the main level. They are simple to put away if you need space to
spread out for games or gathering or non-invasive enough to leave out. There is nothing better
than a night out under the stars while gathering around the campfire, and luckily, The Old Mill
Dome has one large enough for everyone to enjoy! The splendid accommodations at The Old
Mill Dome will not disappoint.
Old Mill Dome is remotely located 4 miles down Chick Creek road, through a dense lodgepole pine tree forest. The road used to serve as a logging route used by trucks to transport trees from the Old Mill just down the way from the Dome. The structure sits on 2.5 lush acres of mountain meadow with views of the surrounding forest and mountain peaks. It is a prime spot to view elk, moose, and coyotes and other woodland critters. Better yet, the location of the Dome sits near miles upon miles of ATV, hiking and biking trails for you to explore. In fact, you
can take off right from the cabin door! The Dome sits in close proximity to the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway as well as Harriman State Park. The small section of Last Chance is just down Highway 20 where you will find a gas station to fuel up the toys and a delicious restaurant. Other local
attractions and businesses are just down Highway 20 that runs through the heart of Island Park and directly to the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, just 35 miles away. The location of Old Mill Dome provides a quiet secluded atmosphere, everything you might want for your mountain get away to Island Park. Plan your gathering at the Dome, you won’t be
disappointed.

Plenty of space for our 40 member family. The zipline was a huge hit with the kids (and even a few adults). We stayed for four nights. Even the dirt road was livable. Thank you, Tyler, for your help with all our needs. Highly recommend the Dome!

Property was clean, spacious and perfect for our family. Beds were comfortable and there are plenty of towels. Road to the property is a little rough but we had everything from trucks to brand new vehicles and everyone made it. The house has four refrigerators and four washers and dryers. Would recommend for large groups or family reunions.

We are a large group & the house was great! The description provided was excellent. 10 almost identical bedrooms on the main floor with a king bed & large walk in closet (big enough for a pack n play for a baby to sleep in. 2 bunk rooms both with 5 sets of twin over twin bunks upstairs with a media room between. Also upstairs were the zip line on one side & a pool table & ping pong table & foosball table on the other side. A pickleball court with basketball hoops was outside the large laundry room (4 sets of washer and dryers) & a grass area next to it that was perfect for the CrossNet we brought. There was a mud room with 2 full size fridge/freezers. The kitchen was well stocked with cutting boards, pots & pans, funnels, measuring cups, etc & 2 more full size fridge/freezers & a nice sized pantry with shelves to hold all the things we brought. The bathrooms are interesting but it worked. One bathroom had 2 sinks and then a toilet with a tub/shower behind one door & then another toilet with a tub/shower behind another door. The other bathroom had 3 sinks when you walk in & a toilet with a tub/shower behind a door & then a large tub with a shower wand & a toilet & sink behind a door. The kitchen, bathrooms, & laundry room are in one section & then the bedrooms start and are numbered, which was helpful since there are so many of them. A surprise was all the box fans provided. We would stay again & will remember fondly our family reunion at the Dome House!

The house fit our family very well. It is difficult to find a place to hold ourselves, 9 children and spouses, and grandchildren. This place was great. Definitely got our money out of the zipline.

The dome was impressive. Location was private. The zip line kept the kids busy, and we finally had to limit the hours of use from 9AM to 9PM for the sanity of all. The kitchen was well appointed and large enough to cook for 35 people. Plenty of fridge/freezer/pantry space. Plenty of folding tables/chairs to accommodate everyone eating at once. The communication with the hosts was amazing. I emailed them a question around 9PM the night we arrived, and I had an answer early the next morning. On top of this, the beds were super comfortable (With the single exception of the sister-in-law that prefers suuuuper soft beds) 100% would recommend for any large party wanting to stay in this part of the country!

Should provide some warning that the road in is 3-4 miles and must be traveled often to get in and out. It is quite rough on vehicles. Bathrooms need some maintenance.

The property was exactly what we wanted. It rained one day and our group just stayed inside because there was so much to do. The facility was outstanding. The night sky is breathtaking. We loved the solitude of the location. The pickleball/basketball court was wonderful. The kids couldn't stop riding the zip line! Perfect for our large family.

This house is a great set up for large families of all ages. Our grandkids were happy to hang out at the house, there was so much to keep them entertained. We had such a s great week there and nobody was quite ready to leave. We had a little issue with a couple of toilets not working right but the owners were so quick to get there and take care of the problem, it was awesome. Would definitely stay there again.
