Dog-Friendly Waterfront Home with Water View, High-Speed WiFi, and Central AC

We spent around a week at this home. Overall the stay was great, there are a few things that could have made it excellent. Location is beautiful, amenities were good. The exterior doors were terrible - they don’t shut on their own and locking them is cumbersome but you get the hang of it after while. A few things could be tidier and dusting the light fixtures would really be great. The dumb waiter was awesome and made groceries a breeze. Overall a great experience and wonderful memories!

Great house. Very clean and comfortable.

My family of five loved this home for our beach vacation. They layout was great - each of us had our own space, but there was also plenty of nice group space to hang out. My kids especially loved the pool table. Everything was very comfortable and nicely decorated, making it easy to relax. The kitchen had just about everything you'd need, although only a Keurig coffeemaker and not a regular one. The outdoor space was nice. We all agreed we'd want to return to this house - my 5yo was asking to turn around and go back to the house while we were driving home.

Great overall space and location. Beds were comfortable and plenty of dining and seating space. The primary bedroom has low circulation due to location of return vent, a portable fan would be beneficial. The plugs on the outside wall of master bathroom do not work. Tried to reset all GFIs. Assume one may be in locked owner closet.

Our family loved our time at Curlew Casa! Beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood! The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the back patios! We look forward to staying again!

We loved this house. Clean and spacious. The dock was fun to fish off and the kayaks provided some added fun. Beaches, shops and eateries are just a short drive. The area was mostly very quiet and peaceful. We hope to stay there again!

The house was beautiful and great location. The only thing was annoying was the gnats but overall we will come back again.

We didn’t want to leave! I loved the layout of this house. My husband and I with our dogs had the upstairs while another couple and 6 yr old and tiny dog stayed downstairs. We would just put a baby gate at the top of the stairs so the dogs weren’t rough housing wrestling. Having the master bedroom with its own exit to the balcony and stairs down to the perfect yard was so easy. The outside area was fantastic with the gas fire pit and full kitchen, we bbq fajitas and stayed warm or would hop inside to play a game of pool! All the reviews said there weren’t any towels so we brought extra but they had 4 towels in every bathroom. The kitchen only had one but we had everything else we needed. We never even left the house all weekend accept to walk the downtown shops. The showers worked great, the beds were comfy and the neighborhood was so quiet! Loved the view on the canals too. If it had been warmer I’d have taken the kayaks out. There was even a spare small table the kid could lay out his toys and coloring on so we always had the large table for games and dinner. Again, such a great layout! The rental company checked in to make sure we were happy and assisted with a late checkout which we were soooo grateful for! Would love to come back when it’s warmer!

Our group gets together at Key Allegro annually and this might be our favorite so far. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy ourselves. Nicely appointed and well maintained.

This was our second time to stay at Curlew Casa and it was just as nice as the first. This house is well stocked and comfortable. The downstairs is perfect if you are traveling with older kids so they have room to play. The dumb waiter is a great amenity and makes loading groceries so easy. The canal and street were both quiet and relaxing.

The house was perfect for our family of 7! We loved fishing off the fantastic dock. We had plenty of space for everyone and a wonderful kitchen to cook in. We had a great time!

House was very accommodating outside of a few issues. A few outdoor fans not working and with the back patio facing west, sitting in the direct sun was not an option. We watched the sunsets from inside. Outdoor kitchen was very dirty. The ice maker was great and floor plan was nice.

This house is located in the desirable key allegro, but that’s as far as it goes. It could be a fantastic vacation rental but unfortunately, corners were cut in areas that shouldn’t be cut. Limited supply in towels(low quality), very low quality bedding(no comforter or heavier top cover…only light weight sheets. The downstairs bathroom shower floor pan was cracked so we were unable to use it. After a long trip down to Rockport, we hoped to arrive and not have to run to the store right away. No spices, coffee, etc. the house has great potential, but just isnt there yet.

We really loved the home! The dumb waiter feature in the garage to the kitchen made bringing our groceries and luggage in super quick and easy! There were plenty of towels for all of us. A few more basic seasonings would have been great so we wouldn’t have had to purchase. Wanted to use the kayaks, but whoever used them last left them in an ant pile and wasps had nested in them. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and watching the sun rise/set. Location was convenient to great fishing spots!

Interior was nice. Outdoor area needs some Maintenace. Bird nest over back door was a problem but we managed.

This house was perfect for my whole family. Key Allegro is a clean, quiet community that is close to restaurants and HEB for groceries. Beyond the convenience and great neighborhood, the house was very clean, spacious and comfortable. With a patio out back overlooking the canal with wonderful sunrise and sunset views, it was also fun to have fishing right out the backdoor plus outdoor kitchen. The pool table downstairs provided lots of entertainment for my family as well. There was an extra ice maker and refrigerator downstairs which added more convenience. Overall, my family and I really enjoyed staying here.
