Dog friendly, oceanfront home 4BR/2BA, 5 minute walk to main island attractions.

This is a great beach house! They don't make them like this anymore, right? I love the familiar layout with the 4bd/2ba like so many beach houses we've rented over the years. It has gorgeous unobstructed views, and is dog friendly but still very clean. It made me wish I had a dog still. Plenty of pots and pans, glasses, coffee mugs. Great appliances too! We'll definitely be back!

First time staying on this beach. The house was amazing and the kids loved having an ocean front home. We all had a great time. Kym was a wonderful host and very communicative. We will be back!!

Owners were great - prompt replies.House has all the little things done that make your stay like home - esp the plug in extensions for all electronics, phones, tablets.Very short walk to the beach & adequate beach depth once you access the beach.Very convenient getting on/ off the island.

The host was fantastic and incredibly accommodating! We really enjoyed the location! The house was super comfortable and relaxing. We appreciated how welcoming the house was for our two dogs.

Life is Shore-y is a comfortable, cozy, welcoming property. The view was terrific- lots of time on the porch. Our pup, Abby, made herself right at home on the dog bed. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants. Kym was a lovely host. A very enjoyable stay.

Absolutely the perfect location. Water was out the back door. Had a beautiful back porch facing the water. Very PET FRIENDLY!!! Everything about this location was perfect. Home was clean, comfortable bed. We only used one! Easy access in and out. Communication with owners was so smooth. Had everything we needed. Besides our own linens and towels. Which was clearly stated before we booked this beautiful home. We will stay again.

Everything about this property was fabulous. The house layout is great. Even though it is a smaller house, the layout is open and feels bigger than it is. Everything we needed and more in the kitchen was provided. It was very dog friendly with a dog bed, bowl and toys for the pups. The proximity to the beach is just a short walk away. We loved the hose at the walkway, so we could rinse off after enjoying the beach. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing. The porch has plenty of seating. The hosts were responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I celebrated my 60th birthday here and it was everything I could have asked for. We enjoyed our time and wouldn't hesitate to return.

To start with the highs, the location was truly wonderful! The view from the deck was amazing and being able to walk right out to the beach was sublime. We had the opportunity to watch some really breathtaking sunsets and then walk right back to the house, which was really convenient. The place itself was the perfect size for our group of seven - it felt cozy and intimate without being cramped. And we loved how dog friendly it was! Waking up to the sounds of waves crashing on the shore was really something special. The main negative here was due to cleanliness - we unfortunately saw many cockroaches during our stay, killing probably 5 really huge ones. This was a common occurrence both day and night. We did alert the property owners to the issue, so hope it can be addressed for future renters as the place is really incredible otherwise. We also were sadly unable to enjoy the deck as much as we’d have liked due to the overabundance of gnats. We couldn’t really hang out on the deck for more than a few minutes without being eaten alive, though this could be a seasonal issue as I didn’t see this brought up in other reviews. The plus was that we saw many a beautiful dragonfly going after this feast of bugs, but we would have preferred being able to sit out on the rocking chairs and enjoy the outside more - this is no fault of the owners, just something to be aware of. Overall, a very nice stay!

Overall, this house was the perfect choice for us. It's quiet and private with still being close to everything. The layout was awesome for 3 separate families.

We enjoyed our time at the beach. The view was breathtaking. We had a lovely visitor early in the morning and late evening. The house was only steps to the beach.The home was lovely. Very nice touches for the fur babies. We enjoyed the outside showers, great for getting the sand out before going in the house.The only complaint we had was the furniture was not very handicap friendly. The furniture was beautiful tho. We really appreciate you letting us stay in your home.

We had a great time! The property had everything in place to ensure our stay was perfect. Noise makers by every bed, night lights, end tables where they were needed & blankets for the family room. The kitchen was very well stocked & the location is perfect! We will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our extended weekend stay at this delightful oceanfront home. The house is clean and comfortable, for us and for our dogs. We enjoyed being steps from the beach during fair weather, as well as enjoying the ocean beauty from the full-width covered porch or through the many windows from inside during wintry weather.

We absolutely enjoyed our time at this property. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay. The owners have thought of alot of special touches like dog beds for the animals and games to play and a gaming area set up. The back porch was a particular favorite with the rockers and the views of the ocean - SO close! You can just sit and rock the day away. The view is to die for!! There is also a picnic table on the back deck so you can eat enjoying the view. The house has lots of places to sleep - it was only hubby and me so we didn't need all of the beds but there is plenty of space if you had a larger family to stay too. The owners are wonderful and kind and thoughtful - you can't ask for more! I'd absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. Large, comfortable beach house; many utensils, pots, pans, appliances, etc. good location, easy stair entrances, gate on back porch to keep dog safe; many restaurants, sandwich shops with a mile or so; we enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed our stay immensely in this lovely home on the beach. Very clean and well maintained. My son and I visited Holden Beach for the first time and although the weather was cool it was a wonderful getaway.

This has been by far my favorite place we have stayed in Holden Beach! The location is perfect, such a beautiful home. Beds were comfortable and place was very clean! Very dog friendly(my pup loved it) I loved the dog guest book such a great touch ❤️Kym was very responsive if we needed something! My Brother even extended their stay for the rest of the weekend it was such a great place to stay and we will definitely want to book again!

Little did we realize a storm was brewing off the coast. 10 inches of rain later we were out and about. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed lots of reading and quiet time. We woul definitely recommend Life Is Shore-T. Debbie, Anne, Matt and the puppadawgs

Unfortunately we had to pack up and leave after only 3 days due to tropical storm Debby. We enjoyed our short day. The house was as described check in with super easy. Everything is there that you need. I did mention to the owners. There was a musty odor in the house when we arrived maybe from the AC filter . It was not horrible but noticeable. Everything else, but the weather was perfect!

We enjoyed our stay and home was well equipped, The porch was wonderful. The king bed was a bit, loud, maybe needs to be oiled or bolt tightened. Had a great week!

The house was just as described. Beds and space were more than adequate for our 9 guests (one being 1 2 1/2 yr. old). Kitchen was well stocked and the additional table for games was great. The covered back porch was everyone's favorite to watch the beach and water wit a constant amazing breeze. Kym was great to work with! We hope to be back soon!
