Dog-friendly marsh view home with large deck, close to beach access

This was our second time at My Flippin' House, and we enjoyed it very much. We will be back!

Appliances and furnishings were very outdated. Loved the location and view.

Our family made some wonderful memories in this home! It is a modest, no-frills home, but is appropriately priced and advertised, and exactly what I expected. It just needs some upgrades and small fixes to become a 5-star property one day. The location can't be beat--you can see & hear the ocean from the front deck and are just one block from beach access.

Second year our family has stayed here. We love this house. Has a few odds and ends that need to be fixed. Great location and close to a beach access. Far enough down that it's not over crowded.

This was a stunning house. Beautiful furniture. Great beach and marsh views. Great parking. Would love to live in this house.

Well I guess some things are too good to be true. Found this home at a great price and booked it fast… now we know why. I believe the newest thing on the home is the electronic lock for the back door ? Home is very very dated… like I don’t think it’s been touched since it was built. The couches are supported by plywood so you don’t fall through them… it looks like things might have been painted recently, but not very well; they didn’t even bother to move the bed to paint around the headboard which I thought was hilarious. Wallpaper was peeling in the bathrooms… just little annoyances… One other thing; if you are planning on grilling out, reconsider. The gas grill would hardly turn on (we got 1 burner to work) and you might need a tetanus shot after you use it. If you DO decide to grill, make sure you bring spatulas and tongs or whatever you need because there aren’t any in the house provided (I guess they don’t expect you to use the grill either lol). Another thing that upset me was the lawn care crew came by at some point to mow and they blew grass all over my car (and probably peppered it with rocks/sand as well). As someone who actually works in property management professionally, that really got under my skin. I will say in its defense, it’s a great location to the beach. It’s almost directly across from public access. Also, even though everything in the house is ancient, it did still all work properly. Refrigerator, dishwasher, AC, washer and dryer etc all functioned as it should. Basically, if you are looking for a place to simply sleep at night and just enjoy the beach, this is a good place for you. However, If you are the kind of person that enjoys the place you stay at, hangs out at the house a bunch, cooks in etc, then you might want to look elsewhere… it’s a fairly lackluster place but it provided us a place to sleep at night and it was at least clean.

Love the location, the beach is awesome and well taken care of. Turtle rescue & hatchings incredible. But the house/property is run down & needs fixing/ upgrades. Not worth the rent charged. Will be looking at a different rental next time & not with Vacasa.

I loved the closeness to the beach!!! Endless hotwater!! Was worried with 11 of us, but no issues! Very kid friendly.
