Dog-friendly lakefront home with private sundeck

We booked this house for Thanksgiving. It was a great house. Very accommodating. Great communication with hosts. Loved the location. Everyone had fun with the game table and fishing. Kids even did a polar plunge. We will be back. Beds are a little hard but some people like that. Our son left early because he likes a softer bed but my husband was happy with it so it’s a personal preference. It definitely needs a big skillet, and some casserole pans if you plan on cooking. A pitcher for tea etc would be a nice addition. The internet was hit or miss with several people using it, but it was not missed with the other activities. Overall it was a great place.

This home was perfect for family. The home was located on the Colorado arm of the lake and provided a great dock with a lift that kept our boat from being banged around on a busy holiday weekend. The dock was also a perfect place for the kids to jump from, swim and fish. The giant pecan tree kept the whole yard & dock shaded, so no sunburns. The 5 grandchildren loved the kids room and the other rooms were comfortable enough for adults. For 9 people, we needed the 3 bathrooms too. The kitchen needed some organizing but we eventually found what we needed. We will not hesitate renting this home again.

Great home and location

The house was excellent. House was clean and well equipped for fun.

Nice home on the water. We enjoyed our visit and were able to relax. The only things that needed improvement with this rental: there was no dish soap or paper towels in the kitchen, the house needed a deep clean (cobwebs, cabinet doors and baseboards dusty), no laundry soap provided (check out instructions ask you to start a load of laundry) and the check out time is 10 am. There is a way to get an extended check out time of 2 pm but it is not offered until the day before your trip and costs about 100.

We enjoyed the home. The layout and number of beds was perfect for our group. The backyard and deck were a great plus to the home.

Had no issues with the home. The pictures do not do it justice! the view is beautiful and all around a great location. Would definitely stay here in the future.

Perfect place. We have stayed here before and will go back again I’m sure. Boat dock is perfect and big shade trees around help a lot in the summer time. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our time here - the house felt more spacious than photos revealed and it was clean and kids loved the ping pong, pool and foosball tables. Kitchen was decently stocked but could have used a big pot, etc for cooking for large groups. Note the neighbors are super close - they were super friendly but one side was blasting music for a while, changing the atmosphere outside. The water was nice but a bit too busy for kayaking.

We will be back. Plenty of room for the family. Kitchen equipped. Boat dock was nice to come in and out of the lake. Good A/C. TV’s and fans in every room. Major key in Texas.

Loved everything about this home. Great waterfront, very clean, beds comfortable. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit, barbecuing and taking our boat out.

Perfect place!!! The backyard is amazing and we spent all our time by the water!

Stayed September 11-16 with family. House is fine, kitchen could use organizing and additions but we got meals done. Beds are firm/ hard and sheets are thin but again do the job. This was our second time to this home and sadly I am unsure if we will return. We love that they allow dogs because one of ours loves the water. Property managed both times by Vacasa and the customer service is now outsourced. We lost hot water completely on Saturday. After texting with customer service, troubleshooting for 30 minutes then calling and insisting on someone local we got maintenance and a new water heater. Locals are wonderful and I was very pleased with them. We lost Saturday evening dealing with this and had icy showers. We asked for compensation for interruption and frustration. Vacasa felt it didn’t warrant it. They never reached out to see if it was resolved and my email request was answered by text saying problem had been fixed with no consideration for the inconvenience.This is true but bad customer service.

The stay was great and we loved the property. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice weekend for our family. Everyone loved the foosball table! We took a water mat and tied to the dock and the older kids loved it! Note to families with little ones. The river was very busy this weekend so there was a lot of wake action. The grandkids aged 8,6 and 5 loved it! It was a little too much for the 3 year olds. One small suggestion would be to provide more plastic plates for eating on the sundeck (and for the little ones inside too).

The bunk beds and game tables were a huge hit with the kids. Adults loved the space, the patio and the boat dock. Beautiful memories were made!

Our family of five enjoyed our stay in this home. There is plenty of space. The beds were comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the ping-pong table and fusball table. We were especially grateful for the jet ski docks to make it easy to get on and off the river! Coffee maker was broken but otherwise Kitchen is well appointed. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!!

We like the house overall and the kids loved their room. The queen beds were kinda hard and the pillows weren’t that great. We did have a great time !
