Elegant Southwestern decor and contemporary pueblo-inspired architecture provide the perfect ambiance for this scenic, 11-acre retreat bordering national forestland just outside of Taos. Private outdoor features include a walled courtyard and a beautiful backyard patio overlooking the forest that includes a built-in bench seating area and a kiva-style outdoor fireplace.
Saltillo tile floors fill the interior, along with other traditional design features like mosaic accents and natural timber ceilings further accent the home's Santa Fe design school style. The impressive full kitchen boasts a suite of stainless steel appliances for family meal prep, and meals can be shared around the large dining table. A wood-burning fireplace and comfortable seating options welcome casual downtime in the living room. Radiant floor heat adds a layer of comfort underfoot, while the washer/dryer adds convenience during your stay.

The house and outdoor space is so comfortable, clean and inviting. We were so pleased with the space...we were sad to say goodbye to our pueblo. Outdoor fireplace and sitting area were ideal for morning coffee and evening cocktails. House is fully stocked to cook meals.
Loved the house! Plenty of room for 4 adults and then some. Out in the country but close enough to Taos for dinner etc. It is down a gravel road, and you would need AWD or 4WD in snowy weather.
We're a group of 5 men, and had a good stay, so I'll start with the positives. The house itself was nice, and there is a lot of privacy, but the location is very confusing to get to, so make sure you have cell service. Each of us got lost at least once. The master bedroom is open to the rest of the house, so no sleeping in. We found the previous tenant's full trash bag in the courtyard. There was a dead mouse floating in the main toilet. The house has no extra blankets. All of the beds are old, loud and creaky. The kitchen had no paper towels, and the ice maker could not keep up. The listing shows a huge stack of firewood, but there's none. We went to cook on the grill, but the cylinder was empty. To sum up, this house was meant only for renting out, not for living in it, so there were many things that fell short as far as comfort. We will not stay here again.
We had an incredible stay! It was absolutely beautiful! We CC will be back!
We were five friends who haven’t seen each other for awhile. We enjoyed just hanging out with each other in a wonderful home. Cooking, eating, remembering old times!!
This place is amazing!! We loved it! Way better than our expectations. We will absolutely stay again!
Lovely home with nice appointments. Very private and secluded. Extremely peaceful.
Wonderful stay in a magical place.
This was my first experience with home rentals, and we were not disappointed. The five of us were very comfortable in this home outside of Taos. We had places to hike, look at the amazing clear skies, cook most meals, and find privacy, when we needed alone time. The kitchen was well stocked for most of our cooking needs. A pair of cooking tongs would have have been nice. We enjoyed sitting outdoors on the patio in the morning and afternoons. We loved the large dining room table for dining and for playing games after dinner. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and city noise, this place is for you.
I could not speak more highly of this property and property owner. My family of four stated very comfortably. We had the best time walking around property. We watched movies, only 20 minutes to town for food or activities. We lived the house therefore we remained around the house the whole time. The only thing I didn't like was some of the decor but that is just a styling preference. I know this decor is very popular in New Mexico. I loved the trees around the property, I loved the open concept living room and kitchen dining area, I loved the light wood beams on the ceiling, so beautiful!! The owner Jeppe was very kind, and helpful. Absolutely helped me with anything I needed. I am very grateful with all that's happening with covid19 that extra cleaning and safety precautions were followed. I hope to stay another time, truly enjoyed my trip. Only problem was that I didn't want to leave. Haha. Blessing to you Jeppe, thank you again.
